Marian made her way back to her flat and packed a bag. She didn't know where she was going. All she knew was that she needed to get out of town and out of her head.

"I'm going to drive until I run out of gas."  Three hours later her gas light came on.  She filled her tank back up and grabbed a bunch of junk food and some cheap wine.  She asked the attendant for reccomendations for a bed and breakfast.  The young man told her about the Angel Inn. She looked up the hotel in her gps and made her way out. After checking in she changed into her pajamas and began to scroll through the television to find a bad movie to watch. She wasn't in the mood for anything good or she had seen a million times before.  She settled on a foreign flick with subtitles.  She opened the wine and drank from the bottle and snacked on her chips.

In the morning she picked upher phone and looked at the pictures Ahmir had sent.  She couldn't help but smile. They all looked like they were having fun.

Thank you for the photos. I know that Faith is in good hands with you and your parents. I love you all so very much. I'm going to be offline for a few days. Don't worry, I will be fine. I just need time to think about my future.  If you need anything I'm sure that Uncle Louis can handle it until I get back, love you my little lion cub.

She turned her phone off and decided to get some breakfast. As she began to pull clothes out of her suitcase Kaia's journal fell to the floor. She shook her head at Kaia and her love journal. She would never get it that she wasn't her and things would never work out like they did for her.  Marian knew that Zayn loved Kaia, she didn't need to read about how Kaia won the lotto while she couldn't keep her marriage together, no matter how hard she tried.

Two days later she was sick of watching tv and trying to write. Nothing inspired her, it only make her cry. The road, that was what  called to her, she always thought better when she was in a car.

Three days later...

Louis was trying his best to stay supportive, but with Ahmir and Harry calling him to ask if he heard anything from Marian he hated telling them no, wishing she would answer her phone at least once or even a simple instagram post.

"Hey," Louis said once Kaia picked up the phone.

"Hi, Lou any news?"

 "None, you?"

"No," Kaia sighed. "It's been five days and she hasn't even called to ask about Faith."

"How is the baby doing?"

"She's doing well despite the circumstances. As long as she can talk to her daddy she's fine. I post photos of her and Ahmir on Instagram hoping that Marian will see it and remember her babies love her."

"Excellent idea, I'm going to send out some feelers see if I can out find out where she is."

"Are you sure that is going to work? We haven't seen anything since she was spotted in Cardiff. Zayn has tried."

"It can't hurt to try."

"Call me if you hear anything."

"I will, talk to you soon, Kaia," Louis said before handing up.

Marian walked around the Seascale Village. She found herself on the Irish Sea coast of cumbria. The beach was very calming and she had spent hours on it over the past few days. She was finally able to clear her mind and find some peace within herself. Kaia's journal did inspire her to work again, it just wasn't what she expected to write.  Today she was going on an expedition with the yoga class put on by the resort she was staying at.     After the class she headed back to the cliffs on her own.
