I wish to keep myself anonymous. I do not want anyone to know my name. But, I want my story to be heard.

I was born in Brunswick, GA on March 20, 2001. I was an accidental pregnancy. My mom tells me she was on birth control and she and my dad used protection but I still appeared nine months later. My dad is not the one to get the dad of the year award. He went back to Florida, where he was from, as soon as he found out my mom was pregnant. He did not believe I was his baby. I mean I do not blame him. My mom was engaged when she met my dad. She cheated on her fiance with my dad and, as soon as she found out she was pregnant, she broke off the engagement. She decided to chase my dad down. She went all the way to West Palm Beach, FL to find him living with another woman. My dad refused to take a DNA test so my mom could prove I was his baby because he was convinced that there was no way in hell I was his. However, he agreed to go back to GA with my mom on the terms that if I look like him when I am born, he will marry my mom. I do not know how a baby is supposed to look like someone as soon as they come out. I mean, they look like a potato when birthed. Nonetheless, she agreed and he went back with her. On the day of my birth, my father was convinced I was his. He was blown away with how much I looked like him. They were married that same year in September. It was on their wedding day when my mom found out she was three months pregnant with my brother. At eight months, my dad was driving himself, my mom, and I home when a drunk driver T-boned us. He hit the passenger side door and the door completely wrapped around my mother. Glass impaled my mother. Her face, chest, stomach, arms, you name it. The impact also knocked one of her eyes out of socket. I'll remind you, she was also eight months pregnant. My dad on the other hand was thrown through the windshield. All that happened to me was a little cut on my right wrist from a piece of glass. My dad pulled his head out of the windshield still concious somehow. I believe it may have been adrenaline. He got out of the car and got me and my car seat and set me on the ground a few steps away from the car. He then went back and had to rip the car door from my mother. He then picked my pregnant unconscious mother up and walked a few steps away from the car before collapsing. My brother was born that night a month early on January 2, 2003. He is a miracle baby. However, the wreck caused him to have ADD, Severe OCD, ADHD, and Severe Tourettes. But, I am thankful that he, my mother, and my father survived.
