Ag Pov:
I leave in two hours for the airport. I'm flying to Michigan to see Anna. I've been stressing all day to make sure that I have everything, not to mention the perfect outfits so I don't look like a bum. I'm almost done packing when my phone starts ringing. It's Anna. I'm not kidding every time I see her name on my phone I get chills. In the best way possible. I answer, she's in her bathroom straightening her hair in just a sports bra. I had to focus a little bit because she caught me off guard.
"You good there bub?" she says.
"oh, uh, yeah! I'm great, I can't wait to see you!" I tried to say without stuttering
"hmmm okay, well I was calling to let you know I'll be at the airport when you get here to pick you up."
"Okay! I can't wait!" I say before we end the call.
Normally i'm never this nervous to see a girl. Really, never. But Anna has this hold on me no girl ever has. I don't want to move too fast and say she's the one, but she's definitely not just another girl.
Time skip-> Leaving for airport
I'm all packed and I say goodbye to my Mom and get in my car. I was listening to the playlist Anna made me. Pretty much includes nothing but Blackbear, but I love it because she made it for me. I get to the terminal and make my way to the gate. I board the plane and the seats next to me were empty, probably due to covid. The plane takes off and my stomach drops, I don't know if it's because the plane is rocketing 30,000 feet high or that i'm about to see Anna. Finally, after what felt like forever, I land in Michigan. I get off the plane and start to head to the baggage claim. I look up from my phone and see a small, blonde-haired girl facing away from me. She's wearing black leggings and a white crop top, with a white bandana in her hair. It was Anna.
"Who you looking for Shumate?" I shouted.
She turned around and her mouth dropped, she started running towards me. She jumped into my arms and wrapped legs around my waist.
"Oh my god I missed you so much bub you don't even know" She yelled. "So. Much." she whispered in my ear.
It gave me chills. I set her down so she wouldn't notice. She tugged at my shirt to get my bag and head to the car. I can't believe i'm here. It feels so unreal. It feels like home when i'm with her.
