The next day, Lee picked us up for school,  and we all talked on the way.  "Hey Evie,  just a warning, Noah is the biggest player at school." Lee said with a laugh.  I smiled and rolled my eyes.  But felt my heart crack.

As we got inside the school, I almost cried.  Noah was kissing a girl against the lockers.  But I couldn't be mad.  He barely knew me.  I sighed and walked with Lee and Tuppen to homeroom.   "So,  I can't take you home today." Lee told me at lunch and I sighed.  Gia left early to meet up with her boyfriend Adam,  so I was stuck.  "But Noah can give you a ride." I sighed and nodded.  I wasn't looking forward to that.  "Yo mom and dad are going out of town friday so party starts at 8. Don't invite any jackasses." Noah said as he walked up to the table.  "Does that include you?"  Lee and I laughed,  and Noah flicked Lee on the arm.  "Hey Evie." Noah smiled.  "Hey Noah." I said with a half assed smile.  "Don't come to the party friday. It's not for good girls like you." Noah told me. "Nah, I'm going." I said flatly. Noah looked hurt for a split second,  and walked away.

After school I sighed and walked up to Noah,  who was talking to a few cheerleaders. "Hey. Lee said you were giving me a ride." I said trying to stay friendly. "Yep!" Noah grinned. "Where's your car?" I asked and Noah moved to the side to reveal a motorcycle. "Nope. Nope nope." I said quickly. "I have an extra helmet, you'll be fine." He tried convincing me. "You know what, it's so nice out, I think I'm gonna go for a run." I teased, putting in headphones. "It's like 5 miles!" Noah sighed. "What? Can't hear you!" "Just get on the damn bike please." "Sorry, see you at the party Friday!!" "No you won't, cause I told you not to come!" "IM STILL GOING!" I yelled as I ran away. "See I knew you could hear me!" Noah yelled back and rolled his eyes.

The next day I helped Lee and his best friend Elle set up everything for their kissing booth that night. And Lee managed to convince me to work at the booth.

The night went on and I was the last girl to kiss at the booth. Lee put the blindfold on me, and pushed me onto the stage of the booth. "Hello.." I said nervously. "So, I've never kissed anyone before, I mean I've almost kisss someone but it didn't work out at all, and we bumped heads, and it was super embarrassin-" I was cut off by someone's lips touching mine. I put my hands where the persons shoulder would be and then it hit me. It was Noah. I pulled away and pulled the blindfold off of me slowly. Noah stared at me. And I started back at him, before he pushed his lips on mine again rougher than before. We kissed for a good two minutes before finally pulling away. We turned to look at everyone. "Oh my god kill me now." I panicked. "Relax Evie, it was just a kiss." Noah laughed. I turned to look at him. And questioned his statement. Was it just a kiss?

I stayed late to help Lee clean,  and told him I was gonna run home and he left.  I cut the lights off on the booth and turned to see Noah talking to a cheerleader and rolled my eyes and started to make my way home.

It started to thunder and I began to panic,  not wanting to get caught in the storm.

"Evie, get on the bike." Noah said as he rode up beside me. I stopped and looked at him. "Come on, you know Gia would kill me if I left you out here." He convinced me, and I climbed on the bike, putting on the spare helmet, and grabbing onto his waist.

We rode in the storm for a little while before Noah's tires started skidding and we decided to pull over. He gave me his jacket, and we ran to a gazebo. Noah watched the rain as I stared at him. I wondered if he wanted to kiss me again, but it didn't matter, because I was already running to him. I grabbed his face and our lips locked for a few seconds before he pulled me away. He stared at me for a moment before kissing me again.   "Wait. I cannot just be another one of your conquests." I said out of breath.  "Is that really what you think of me? Evie, I-I like the way that you don't fall at my feet like every other girl at school."  He said, pulling me close to him. We continued to kiss again,  until a bright light shined at us.  "Noah,  is that you? I told you to stop bringing girls here." The security guard said.  "WHAT?!?! You just took me to your hook up spot?!" I asked angrily.  "No Elle I-" "No! Unbelievable!" I said and stormed off.  I shivered and walked back to the gazebo. "I'm still mad at you,  but I am cold as shit. And you are taking me home. Now." I demanded and we both walked in silence to the motorcycle.

The week went on and I didn't speak to Noah. Friday came faster than I thought.

I just chilled with Gia and Tuppen at my house after school and got ready for the party. This would be the first time Noah saw me without my uniform, so I decided to wear a black bralette, with skinny jeans and wide fishnet tights that you could see from the top of the jeans and a black and white flannel. "Bitch you ready??" Gia asked me as I finished straightening my dark brown hair, and opening the bathroom door. "Yeah, lets go!" The three of us ran to Tuppen's Jeep and started the short drive to the Flynn's house.

When we walked in the music was so loud I could barely hear anything. Lee came downstairs with two girls one being Elle, and another girl I hadn't met. "Hey Evie! This is my girlfriend Rachel!"
The two girls hugged me and we started talking. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Noah making out with another girl. A different one from yesterday. I rolled my eyes and excused myself and went to get a drink at the table in the back yard. I poured half a can of coke a cola into a red solo cup and added a good 3 shots worth of vodka. "Looking sexy Evie." I turned to see Warren, and I rolled my eyes. "Thanks." I said, obviously annoyed, and downed half of my drink. "Aw I can see you're tense. You should come to the hot tub with me." Warren coaxed. "No thanks." "Oh come on Fields, lets go." "Warren I said no." I said a little louder. "I won't take to for an answer." He kept pulling me. "Warren I said!-" "SHE SAID NO WARREN." Noah came up making Warren let go of my wrist. Noah got in Warrens face. "Okay, okay, hey. Just walk away. Come on." I said grabbing Noah's hand. Noah kept staring at Warren, so I tugged on his arm. "Noah, come on. Just walk away." Noah looked down at me and turned to follow me. "Damn, what a simp. He lets a slutty bitch tell him what to do." I felt Noah let go of my hand and turned around to see Noah body slam Warren into the ground. I ran out of the house, and started running to Tuppens car. "Evie wait!" Noah called. "I'll take you home just get in the car." I kept walking. "Get in the car Eve." I kept walking. "GET IN THE CAR EVIE!" Noah yelled and slammed his hand on the car. I stopped in my tracks and turned around, slowly walking to the grey SUV and getting into the passenger seat.

We drove in silence for a while while I stared out the window before Noah spoke up. "Look, I'm sorry okay? It just got too much." I looked over at him, and my eyes softened. "It's whatever." I said quietly. "No it's not. Look I gotta tell you something." Noah sighed.  I hummed in approval for him to continue.  "I've gotten in fights my whole life okay? It's just how I'm wired I guess..my parents even took me to a couple of counselors for it." Noah told me,  and I started to notice we weren't going home.  "This isn't the way to my house." I told him.  "I know. I wanna show you something." Noah said quietly.

We drove for a little while longer before he parked the car and we hiked up to the Hollywood sign.  "So how many girls have you taken to this spot?" I ask flatly.  "I only come here by myself.  Except now." He whispered. "Wow,  you're good.." I said.  "I'm serious." Noah said, almost sad that I didn't believe him. "Okay Noah."  "Evie,  I like you okay? Do you think I meant to fall for the new girl?"  He asked.  I shook my head.  "I like you too." I sighed, and kissed him.  I pulled away after a little.  "If we do this,  we need to have a couple rules." I told Noah, and he nodded.  "Number one. No more fighting." "Done." Noah agreed.  "Rule number 2. No more telling me what to do."  I said.  "Cross my heart."  "And rule number 3, is I can't be another one of your in betweens okay? I'm either all yours,  or not yours at all." I said,  and he nodded.  "I promise."
