We pick back up on the day of the Canterlot Wedding, with the changeling army begun crashing into the magical spell that shielded the city. Queen Chrysalis had seemed to begun fighting on her own in what seemed to Echo the main castle. As much as she wanted to rush to her aid and maybe finally ask what she meant, she still had a mission to carry out. Bolg flew next to her as Cipher went in the help continue break the magic shield.

Bolg, "We will be past the shield shortly. Remember your task, Mustard(meaning annoying sister), and we will do ours."

Before Echo could reply the shield was broken through and the Changelings surged down into the city like a plague of locust. Echo flying into the city with her soldiers made their way to the building the Elements of Harmony were being held. They flew weaving through the city high and low, trying to get to the building while trying to stay away from the pony guards that did everything they could to slow their progress. However, as Echo and her platoon drew closer, the more and more guards (For those who do not know, the guards are made up of all three races. Unicorn, Earth Pony, and Pegasi) begun to appear and hinder them too great. They made it to what seemed like a market square with a fountain in the center and the royal guards of the twin sisters ambushed them. Echo fighting back each guard that targeted her, discombobulating them by slamming her hoof into their face or chest with just enough impact to knock the wind out of them. They were still outnumbered however, and as Echo was trying to rally some of her troops to keep the guards from cutting off their route to push forward, about 150 of her soldiers rushed forward with no regard, with the clear intend to secure the elements.

Echo, with a slight panicked voice calling out, "Get back in formation!"

It was however too late, as the way was now closed off by the royal guards spells to try to box the remaining Changelings in. Echo in the heat of the moment forgot about everything, and flew straight up into the sky and tried to fly away. Only to be chased by some of the pegasi that saw her. As they tried to force Echo to land or to fight in the air, she did all she could to lose them. Flying through windows, sharp unpredictable turns, even trying to hide in a alley transforming into a rock... And while the last one had worked. It wasn't long until she was found again by more of the Royal Guards of the Twin Sisters. This day seemed to drag on and on for Echo, her breath slowly becoming ragged, her legs tiring, and wings beginning to feel numb. She rounded one last corner to see the alley was a dead end, and before she turned around she was met faced to face with a Unicorn Guard accompanied with four other Earth Pony Guards.

The first earth pony spoke with a clear rough gravel in his tone, "Looks like we found one by themselves, too hurt to fight"

The second one spoke with a chilling tone, "Lets grab her and subdue her quickly"

Echo was corned with what seems like no hope, and in that moment... That's when Echo thought things could simple not get any worse that is when massive wave of pink energy swarmed the city. Echo was slammed into the back ally wall, her helmet falling off, and see saw that The Hive was defeated. Seeing the Queen being blasted off into the distance, and being stuck against this wall unable to move hurt her emotionally, let alone being slammed the wall taking her breath away. As fast as the wave came it disappeared, dropping Echo down on the ground officially too tired to move. The Unicorn, with a coat of grey and black short hair similar to Shining Armor stepped forward and gently poked Echo with his hoof.

First Earth Pony, "Sergeant Dawning, what do you want us to do with it?"

Sergeant Dawning turned away from Echo levitating a pair of shackles to the earth pony with a calm tone, "Cuff her and take her to the dungeons so we may question her. I have to check on other troops to see if we have anypony who has been hurt."

The Pony nodded, and walked over to Echo as Dawning walked off. The last thing Echo saw before her vision failed her and passing out was Dawing's strange mark on his flank. A mark of a shield.
