Awake

Dawn's POV

        After spending some time at the hospital, I drove City to the Studios for her dance class parking outside the building. "you sure you dont want to come in and join?" she offered once more as I shook my head giving a soft smile. "thanks, but I should get home and unpack.. got alot left"I said sighing remembering I had alot left. "do you got a ride?" I asked feeling bad since I remembered driving her to school this morning. "yeah i will be fine, looks like gabe here..probably with laura.." she said nodding over to his car in parking lot.

        "alright then, see you later or you can text me" I said since we were neighbors and switch numbers earlier in the day. "yeah for sure.. see ya!" City said waving once more before rushing inside building and before I took off heading home where unfamiliar faces stood out front with my mother chatting away and laughing from looks of it.

        "aw dawn finally your home! come here!"My mother motioned me over as I stepped out of my car giving a soft smile. "sorry, was hanging out with new friend.. hello.."I said awkwardly waving to th other woman and what lookd like her daughter. "hello dawn, pleasur to meet you.. my name is candace and this is my daughter olivia" the woman spoke before her daughter jumped in. "please call me livvie.." "no problem.."I said smiling.

        "alright girls! dinner time!" my father yelled laughing talking to man inside as all four of us went inside after the guys called guessing they were hungry as much as we were. Today been one crazy day for sure.

Annie's POV

         "aww do you have to go?"the small child asked as I giggled nodding. "sorry sara, but i will be back tomorrow i promise.. now you eat and get some rest"I said standing up smiling. "okay bye annie.." sara spoke giving a small wave as I returned the action before walking out of the ill children ward as it always broke my heart. But the same time it felt good being able to make them smile for some time during the day or when I was not in school.

        A soft sigh came from my lip before looking up to see semi familiar face ive seen around school but didnt know names since I usual stay to myself. 'guessing there visiting someone'I shrugged thinking it as I walked by the room stopping to see a young male that I knew I seen before but couldnt remember where. "hello annie.. how are you? come to visit william" Doctor lamark spoke passing me as she walked into the room honestly scaring me and making me jump.

        "oh hello doctor."I said slowly following her into the room shaking my head to her question. "he look familiar but no, i was passing by"I said honestly. "Poor boy..car accident left hm in this stat of coma"Doctor Lamark stated as my eyes stayed on the unconious cute boy in front of us. "do you mind if I sit and read to him?"I asked suddenly compelled like I had to stay around. "go ahead, i personally think talking to patients always are best..please call if you need anything or notice change" she said as I nodded smiling watching her leave to where now it was just me and him.

        "so..."I said awkwardly standing at the foot of his bed lookng around quiet room before sighing and walking to pull chair right beside himand sat down holding my book in my lap. "hello will or william, im annie.. I think we have had class together but not sure myself so.."I said looking at him thn down to bok picking it up and opening it. "I know this  will sound childish but im here to read you a story.."I said smiling softly even though he wouldnt see.

        "let see..cinderella..no..little mermaid..no..um"I said looking over each story as I flipped though pages before stopping on the one that I had to read. "here.."I said looking up to will and smiles before looking back to book. "there once was a girl who wanted nothng more than to keep her family safe and would do something that no woman would do, her name was mulan.."I began to read. It was from the corner of my eye that was surprising the moment his fingers moved.

        wait he moved. 'he moved?!' I thought to myself jumping from my seat and smiles big running to door. "doctor lamark! he moved! he moved!"I yelled as the doctor and nurses rushed within seconds to the room.
