Heart Strings

Chapter 1. Drama class

Rrrrrrriiiiinnnnnggggggg!!!!!! The school bell screamed! I go to Greyson school of the arts with my best friend Ben. I had just gotten into the school unlike Zayne who has been going there since grade eight and left regular school. I had always been shy and had never realized my talent until I was forced to be in the grade 11 school musical at my old school because I had not joined an extra curricular school activity! After they had made me tryout I had somehow gotten the lead as Sandy from grease and sung the musical into the paper and got offered the chance to go to Greyson.

I was late! Drama was my favorite subject of all time, and with my favourite teacher of all time Mr.B! I got into the drama room ten minutes late! Mr.B saw me burst into the door panting and whispered to me "I can see you tried desperately hard to get here so I think we can let this slide." I smiled gratefully and sat down next to Zayne. "Power out again?" He laughed silently! I smirked.  

"Now class!" Mr.B said. "Who can tell me what pantomime or miming was based on?" No one stuck up their hand. "Anyone? Anyone? Fine I will tell you! The three things they were based on are romance, comedy, and sex!" Every one started laughing! "I knew that, it's obvious! I go to the theatre all the time and watch the opera with my mother and my aunt!" Amanda my mortal enemy boasted! "Amanda not every one has a rich daddy like you! Money doesn't grow on trees!" Zayne told her irritably. "Kids, kids stop with your jibber jabber you just wasted your time but oh well! Class is over now get out unless your offering to clean my office!" Mr.B said.

Chapter 2. The Audition

At lunch Zayne and I had gone to the glee club try outs to see if we are good enough to be part of the most wonderful group in school! It was Bens turn on the stage and he strutted up and took the microphone off the stand and said "My name is Zayne Hudson and I will be singing Jessie's Girl and here I go!" "Jessie is a friend, Jessie is a good friend of mine. But lately something strange isnt hard to explain cuz he got himself a girl and I wanna make her mine! She's watching him with those eyes................." He sung amazingly! After he finished his song they had called me up. "Umm I am Arianna Fealps and I will be singing Defying Gravity." I proclaimed. "Something has changed within me. Something is not the same. I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game! To late for second guessing. To late to go back to sleep. It's time to trust my instinct. Close my eyes and leap!............'

I was Finnished with my song and felt a big weight lifted off my shoulders. Now I just had to wait for them to post the list. "You are never getting in." Amanda said as she walked up to me. "I heard you sing when I was back stage. You weren't nearly as good as me, or anyone for that matter." She was on my last nerve and I was about to burst until Zayne came over "Whats your problem Amanda!? Your always trying to make people's lives a living hell and I'm guessing your the devil!" He stated.

When I got home I couldn't wait to just lay in bed and listen to music. "Elli why are you in my room!?" I asked my little sister. "I need paint for my home work!" She yelled. "We are supposed to paint our pet!" I went to my closet shelf and grabbed some paint. "Here! I didn't even know grade ones had homework. Oh and remember put the lids on when your done and try not to make a mess!" I said. "I can't make any promises!" She yelled while running down the hallway. Finally I can relax. (Ding dong) "Grrrrrr!" I stomped down stairs to the door. "Amanda! What the heck are you doing here!?" I freaked! "I came here to tell you to back off! Every one knows Zayne loves me not you!" She screamed at me! "What!? I don't even like him in that way! He's just my best friend!" I yelled to defend myself! "Well then. I don't believe you so this is not over!"

I turned around to see my dog Shiloh painted all different sorts of colors! "Elli!" I screamed! She ran over to me. "Ya what is it?" She said calmly. "You painted Shiloh!" "We'll my teacher did say to paint our pet." "She meant on paper not on my freaking Great Dane!" I was so furious! "Now you go outside fill up your kitty pool and clean him up or the next thing painted will be you!" I enforced as she ran out the door with Shiloh!

Chapter 3. The List

Today was the day! The day they put up the glee list! My stomach was tangled in a million nots! But there it was! 1.......2..........3! The people who got in were; Skylar Ross.........Claudie Willington..........Amanda Arsen..........Matt Edson.............Ezra Anderson.............. Tyler Belle.............Taylor Belle........Sean Nobble..........Alexa Zuel...........Ella Smith..........Zayne 

Hudson..........and .............Arianna Fealps! I did it I made it in! I can't wait for our first meeting!

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! It's our first glee meeting and I'm freaking out! I hope the people like me! What if they are all so much better than me? I was so scared! "Hello guys and welcome to glee club! I'm mr. Moore! You are the best of the best in this school and that's why you got into the glee club!" Mr. Moore said. "Um Taylor and i have got something ready" Tyler said. "Ya come on bro!" Taylor said. " I told you not to call me bro its just weird!" Tyler freaked. "Would you prefer I call you twiny or clone!"she said "Oh you did not just go there!"he said back. "Just shut up and sing your fricking song!" Amanda spazed. So they sang the song "call me maybe". They were pretty good and a few other people went on and they did good too and then it was time to go home.

Chapter 4. Slumber party

At home the telephone rang. It was Taylor. "Hey Taylor what's up?" "Oh I was just wondering if you want to come to my place for a sleep over? Everyone in glee club is invited except for Amanda cause she really scares me!" In my mind I'm thinking "yes!" And on the phone I say "sure I guess it will be kinda fun." "Ok! See you at 7!"

As I arrived at Taylor and Tyler's house, Tyler greeted me at the door and said "hey girlfriend come on in and make yourself at home!" "Ok hi."I said. "Tyler go away this is a girls only party!" Taylor said. "I love gossip, talking about boys and facials, so don't judge!" Tyler said offensively. Tyler is Taylor's gay twin brother. They do everything together, they even share a locker.

We hear a knock on the door. "I didn't invite anyone els to the party. Who could it be?" Taylor announced. It was Amanda! "Hey Taylor, I'm here for the slumber party! I know my invitation must have got lost in the mail." Amanda said as she looked at me. "And I think I know who it ended up with. I mean that we all know that Arianna's parents bribed mr. Moore so she could get in just like what they did to get her into our school!" "I'm right here Amanda! And that is not true!" I freaked. All Amanda did after was sit and frown the whole time until she finally got up and said "You people are the most boring people I have ever met! I'm going to hang out with my cool friends! Seeya." And walked out of the door.
