Hikari
"If anyone thinks the same way as me, they've already figured out how to pass," Midoriya said. "They'll team up with their classmates, then they'll all go for people with quirks that they already know about."
"But we don't know anyone's quirk!" I said. "How is that... oh."
My 'oh' was because I realized what he meant. The Sports Festival was broadcasted all throughout Japan, which meant everyone knew what our quirks were. Oh no...
The alarm sounded, and an automated voice said, "The first test will now begin."
Almost immediately, Ms. Joke's class jumped out from behind the mountain we were running for, balls in hand.
"Ya'll were on TV!" Shindo shouted down to us. "I know all your quirks! Can't say I can't take advantage of that!"
Then the balls came raining down on us. I raised my hands, and instead of making a shield, I shot a medium temperature shot from both my hands in a wide arch. The balls disintegrated almost immediately.
Before the test had started, I had felt the balls to see what they were made of. They were made of rubber, I realized, so I could burn them with my fire instead of trying to block them with my shield.
When the balls had stopped, I stopped shooting my flames and our class all backed into a huddle.
"Well, this is going to be fun," I muttered. Then I said louder, "Alright, everyone, let's show them what U.A can do!"
Before we could do anything, a boy held up four balls and they were covered with a hard, protective shell. "Don't worry, we have a plan to win," he said, then he tossed the balls to another boy.
He threw the balls into the ground and they disappeared, but I knew they were coming straight for us.
"Everyone, get back!" Kyoka shouted, then she stepped forwards, plugged her earphones into her new gadgets on her hands, and a vibration came from her hands and broke up the ground. The balls flew up into the air, but despite Kyoka's attack, they kept coming straight for us.
Mina make an arch with her hands above her head and acid flew from them and burned up the balls.
"Alright, everyone get back!" Shindo shouted, placing his hands on the ground. "Their defenses are too strong right now, but I can fix that!"
Then the ground started shaking and it broke apart, sending the rock we were standing on high into the air with us still on them.
When the rocks landed, they made tall walls around us, and I looked around and saw that I was alone.
I growled and quickly scanned my surroundings for enemies. There was no one around me, but that didn't mean anything. Someone could come at any moment, but for right now, I needed to find somebody from my class. Sticking together would be our best tactic, so I needed to find one of my classmates.
"Oh, look, someone finally passed... Holy crap!" Mera shouted. His voice was being projected from the speakers above us so he could update us on how many people had passed. "120 people are out? How could a single person manage to get that many people out in one attack?"
Then he sighed. "Well, whatever. I guess more people will be passing now, so hurry up so I can take a break."
I bit my lip. 120 people got out just from one attack from one person? I kept forgetting how strong these people's quirks could be.
Calling out to others will make you a target for the other schools around here, I thought. So you have to stay quiet and try to find someone.
