I could see her eyes lower a bit along with her head, signaling that she was now searching for every option to spend the day having as much fan as possible. Her head finally shot up with excitement and she had a beaming smile before she let out her suggestions. "We can go and play in the parks of the school, and then we can do something fun like playing games or karaoke!" It seemed like a great idea to me, as her smile could convince me to do anything she wanted just to see it a few more seconds. It was still the morning and I thought that maybe leaving the school grounds didn't occur to her. "How about we go for the park outside the school, then play, come back for lunch and have a bit of karaoke?" I asked, to make sure she was onboard with the plan. She nodded vigorously and before we head started to head out, she asked me "Can someone else come with us?".

I was taken back, but it made a lot of sense, as she seemed to like most of our classmates as they were quite energetic. "Sure, who do you want to come with us?" I was not really sure who it would be, but I was very relieved when I heard her say "Uraraka please". Although there could be awkwardness from my side, I was delighted to hear this as I approached her with Eri right behind and asked "Hey Uraraka, would you mind coming with Eri and me to the park?" I then leaned over and whispered "She asked for you herself.". Her reaction was even more than what I expected as she shot up from her seat and put on her biggest smile while cranking up her cheerfulness to one hundred. "Well of course Eri, I'll go change and we will go to the park!" I thanked her and then we waited with Eri by the entrance to the dorms. She came down wearing a black skirt and a pink sweater and to me, she never looked better.

I came down and as soon as I saw Deku,  I felt a small blush as hi had a small smile that had never felt more genuine in the past few weeks. He was wearing black jeans with a red plain shirt and a dark green jacket due to the cold weather. "Shall we get going?" I asked, and they both nodded and we walked out of the dorms. On our way, we made small talk with Eri, as she explained to as her quirk training with Aizawa and how she had now been attending a school for about three weeks and made some friends, even if she didn't warm up entirelly to them at the beginning. We where on our way until Eri tugged on Deku's shirt and asked "Can you carry me on your shoulders?" "Of course Eri!" And he proceeded to pick her up and put her on his shoulder and we continued while she talked and played with the unruly green hair.

We reached the park and Eri was put to the ground and as soon as she was, she touched Deku's leg and said "Tag, you're it!" And started to run off through the park. I then felt a small tap on my shoulder and a smiling Deku that only said "You're it" and started running away. It took me a second to understand what was happening and I finally decided to start chasing after both of them. We continued our game until we were tired out and sat on a bench, and that moment was short lived as Eri spotted the swings and asked if she could go. "Of course, but let's slow down, we just finished playing." stated Deku. We walked to the swings and Eri sat on one of them while Deku pushed her a bit so that she could start gaining speed, and it didn't take her long enough to do so, as we backed up from behind her, always watching if she would fall or not.

"Thank you......... for yesterday. For listening and then putting me to bed." was all that Deku said, eyes still glued to Eri as he would give the occasionally light push. My face flushed at as the thought of his face on my shoulder sleeping came running back to my mind, but I shook it off and looked at him, even if he wasn't looking back. "Of course Deku, I will always be here to help you." He smiled at my statement and a few seconds later, we heard his stomach growl a bit and we chuckled. "Hey Eri, lets head back for lunch. You want to go on my shoulders? he questioned, and he got a smile that melted my heart and some nodding from the white haired girl. He put her on her shoulders and we started going to the dorms in comfortable silence, until Eri asked something that took us both by surprise. "Deku, are you like my brother?" He stopped dead in his tracks and looked up at Eri who only had her head tilted sideways. "Well Eri, you could say that. Family are those who stand up for you always, and you can count on me, so yeah, I could be your brother if you wanted." She seemed satisfied by his answer and we continued our way back.

As we ate lunch, Jiro had prepared the karaoke, and had also put some instruments if someone wanted to use them, as she had gotten over her embarrassment on her hobby, and was happy to help. First went Eri who sang a song I never heard and she didn't know all the lyrics, but we all cheered either way. Then went Jiro and sang her song and we were once again, blown away to how good of a singer she was, and then continued a few of our friends and Eri seem to giggle as some of them weren't the best and they knew it, but we were in for the fun. Deku at one point even had to clean his eyes from tears because of Eri's constant smiling. It was Deku's turn and he sang a song called Peace Sign that I had never heard before, and he was surprisingly good, and I wasn't the only one impressed. My turn came and I didn't really want to do so, but it would disappoint Eri and so I just chose a random song and thanked any external force for not having Mina pick my song.

Uraraka sang very well, and I made sure to congratulate her, even if I stuttered the first few words, as a blush crept into my face. We then had dinner, and I could not have been through a better day, even seeing Kaminari start to play the guitar for his karaoke and failing miserably as he couldn't concentrate on both things gave us a good couple of giggles and laughs, even from himself. Being able to be in the presence of Eri and her constant smiling was a gift, and at those moments I didn't care if I did not deserve to be in that situation, as I really did enjoy myself a lot today. Aizawa came back and went back with an Eri that had said her goodbyes to everyone and was leaving with her new Deku plush and a candy apple I made for her.
