Story 02: Angel of Havoc

༺ ETHAN ༻

"Name's Hayley, it's a pleasure to meet you."

All eyes were looking at her. Well, ba't hindi? Her long black hair was shining. She also has a big bright eyes, and a gentle smile.

An angel transferred into our school. She's Hayley. I've known her for years already. And yeah, she's.. my girl.

Though I didn't expect na lilipat sya dito. But I'm glad.

We were at the gymnasium for physical activities. I'm letting Hayley na gawin yung gusto nya habang nasa bench ako. She's playing table tennis with them. Though, aware ako na may pagka-eccentric sya, just let her be.

"Ethan!" Then someone approaches me from the back. "Be productive, mabulok ka nyan!" Si Hana pala.

"Pag ikaw naunahan ko, bahala ka." And she was always talking about either taking me down or surpassing me. Hindi ako active physically pero nababawi ko naman sa acads. Although hindi ako sportsperson, ako pa rin ang top one. While Hana stays as second, trying to steal the so-called crown from me.

Pero sa konting oras na kinausap nya 'ko, Hayley was already gone from my sight.

"Okay class, go back to your room na para sa next subject!"

She already left the gym.

And so, I asked the other students na kasama nya kanina.

"Kausap si sir Dion, tignan mo sa clinic."

I see.. that crazy physician again.

So, pumunta nga ako para icheck. Sakto naman na before ako makapasok, lumabas si Hayley.

"At least try to inform me." I said. "Ba't ka nya kinausap?"

"..uh?" She seemed confused.

"What does that physician needs? Ba't ikaw?" I asked again.

"Oh. Um.. help offering in case na may health issues ako, pero sabi ko hindi ko naman kailangan."

"I see.. he asked you to become his guinea pig, 'di ba?

"Well.. hahahah, oo."

"Just keep on declining. Hindi tayo sigurado sa medicines nya."

I may not look like I'm into this kind of things but.. I held her hand. I want to.

"Let's head back."

Walking with her like this was a bit out of my character because of my dead eyes and serious looks. But it's fine.

༺ HANA ༻

Napansin ko lang.. since that day na nagtransfer si Hayley, madalas nasa kanya yung atensyon ng iba. Worst is included si Ethan.

Welp, talk about "cute", sure, she is. But doesn't look that much attractive para sakin.

"By next week, magkakaron tayo ng five minutes impromptu presentation. So better to study all of the topics, understand?"

Easy peasy!

"Goodbye class."

Pagkaalis na pagkaalis nya, eto nanaman yung ingay ng umuusog na chairs and tables pati mga paa nila. Mga hindi mapirmi sa isang lugar habang ako, nananahimik sa upuan ko.

"Hana!" At sa lahat ng mga nagsitayuan, imposibleng walang lumapit sakin. "Pwede ka? Group study tayo this weekend!"

Yeh, lalapit lang para magpatulong. Top two ako pero hindi kasi mukhang approachable si Ethan. That's why.. sakin ang bagsak nila.
