Chapter 1

Its been six years since I last seen Brantley. I was home schooled and I went to the University of Georgia for college. I took photography and business. I'm now 22 years old I still live in Georgia but I'm just now buying a house in Jefferson because I graduated college a week ago.

I started my own photography business its called Southern Belle Photography. I found the cutest little house and got approved for it. I'm with my mom and sister right now buying furniture.  My house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath single level with a two car garage. I also have a Ford Raptor now but I still have my Ford Fusion.

I picked out a camo sectional and a camo recliner. I have a king sized bed and got two full beds for the guest bedrooms. My bathroom is done in camo and I got deer stuff for the kitchen. I have a 55 in tv above the fireplace.

After buying my furniture I went home and ordered a pizza. It feels great to be home. I turned on the tv to CMT and guess who was singing yep you guessed it the one and only Brantley Gilbert.  Damn he was still just as sexy as ever.

My door bell rang when I answered it I saw a old friend from high school."Hey Jake" I said. "Adalynn??" He asked. "Yep its me" I said laughing."Damn girl its been to long". He said."I know".I said."Hey we are having a bonfire tomorrow night at Potts Farm how about you come?".he asked. "I don't know". I said. "Oh come on...Please" he asked. "Oh alright...what time?" I said. "7". He said "Okay see you then".I said.

I ate my pizza and watched Swamp People, after I was full I took a shower and went to bed. I have a session in the morning with a family of five. I had my studio all set up just have to set up a few outdoor shots and I will be done.

Next morning:

I woke up at 7am I got up brushed my teeth and hair. I got dressed and went to have some eggs and coffee at the local diner. I was almost done with breakfast when in walks the one and only Brantley Gilbert and his younger brother Kolby. They sat down at the booth behind me and waited on the waitress. She took their drink order and came asked me if I needed anything else. "No thanks Sara" I said. "Its good to have you home Adalynn" she said. I smiled as she walked off to get their drinks.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I froze...crap I thought. I turned around and Kolby had the biggest smile on his face. "Adalynn is it really you???" Kolby asked. "Yeah Kolbster its really me" I said laughing. He pulled me into a hug and that's when I locked eyes with Brantley. He looked sad or hurt for some reason and I know in my eyes I looked the same. "Hey B" I said. "Hey Addy" he says. "Would you like to sit with us?" Kolby asked. "I would love too but I'm running late sorry" I said and left.

I got to my studio with 20 mins to spare. I done the session in a blurr and done a walk in shortly after. I ordered there prints, locked up and left. I went to our old spot, but when I got there I saw a truck. I got out to find Brantley sitting on his tailgate. "Sorry I didn't know anyone was here" I said. "No Addy its fine" saying my nickname. "So how have you been?" He asked me. "Good I graduated college last week and just bought a house" I say. "That's great I have a house too with my fiance" he said. "Your engaged?" I asked. "Yeah" he says. "Congrats" I say. He just nods and looks at the pond. "I gotta go" I say and hop down before he can say anything else.

I cried the whole way home because I still love him. I got home and fixed me a sandwich for lunch. I clean house and just relax. I saw it was 5pm so I got up to get a shower for the bonfire.
