*Aliza's POV*
I woke up and realized where I was. The room was small but average. It had two beds. I'm guessing I have a roommate. the walls were white. Not like a bright white, more like a dinghy white. there was one window on the back wall of the room. It had a long flower pot sitting on it. The flowers were pretty, purple violets. The door opened and there stood the girl I was expecting to be my roommate. "Hey, your new right? I'm Sasha." She said. "Uh, Yea. I'm Aliza." I replied shyly. "Well I guess we're roommates." said Sasha. "Yea I guess so." I gave her a small smile. "Well, I'm going to go and let you get settled." she said before walking out the door.
I heard my phone vibrate and picked it up. Nate texted me.
Nate: "Goodmorning, Beautiful."Aliza: "Goodmorning, Handsome."
Nate: How did you sleep last night??"Aliza: "Pretty good. wbu?"
Nate: "I didn't sleep very well."Aliza: "Awe Nate, you gotta sleep."
Nate: "ik, I've just been busy."Aliza: "Okay. hey I've gotta go, breakfast is ready."
Nate: "Okay, I love you, baby."Aliza: "I love you too, Nate."
I quickly got dressed, grabbed my phone and put it in my pocket, then took off to find the kitchen or dining room. Just as I turned the corner I ran into someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry I.." "Save it! I don't need apologizes from people who can't watch where there going." she snapped cutting me off walking away. Wow what's up with her? I sighed and kept looking for the kitchen or dining room. I saw Sasha a little ways ahead of me. "Sasha!" I called waving at her. "Oh hey!" she waved back running towards me. "What's up?" "Um, I can't find where we're eating breakfast." I said "Well follow me." she said with a weird accent and I laughed.
We finally got to the dining room. It was huge. It has to be with all the kids and teens staying here till they can find a family or gets old enough to leave on their own. I sat down at the table beside Sasha. Not long after, the girl I ran into in the hallway came in like she was the queen. "That's Cassidy. She's the lead popular here." Sasha whispered to me. She must've saw me staring. "Oh." was all I could say. I quickly started eating. Before long I was done and took my plate to the sink, washed it, dried it, then put it up. I started walking back to my room, but I got pushed down from behind. "Shit." I cursed under my breath. "Oops, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there, cults." Cassidy exclaimed laughing. I got up and dusted myself off. A few more people came up behind her. Cassidy turned on her heal and walked off, her friends following her. I sighed and continued back to my room.
When I got to my room, I laid down on my bed. "Aliza! You have a visitor!" I heard Mrs. Brooks call. I got up off the bed and ran to the door. I opened it as quickly as possible. "Nate!" I squealed and jumped in his arms. "Hey, Beautiful." he said laughing. "I missed you so much." " I missed you to." I said, my voice muffled. He laughed again. "So, are you gonna show me around." he asked and winked which made me laugh. "Sure, c'mon." I said. Nate followed me to my room, then the kitchen, then the dining room. "That's all I've seen so far." I said. "Its nice here." Nate replied. "I like it better with you though." I said pretending to pout but failed. He laughed a little and hugged me again, kissing the top of my head. I blushed bright red when I realized Sasha was standing there watching us. Nate looked up also. "Hi, I'm Sasha. I'm Aliza's roommate and new best friend." Sasha said as she held out her hand. I smiled when she said "best friend". Nate shook her hand smiling. "Its nice to meet you, Sasha. I'm Nate, Aliza's boyfriend. Its good to know she has a friend here." Nate said. " BEST friend." Sasha corrected him, emphasizing on the word 'best'. "Okay, okay." Nate said laughing holding his hands up in surrender. I laughed and so did Sasha.
Soon it was time for lunch and Nate had to leave to pick up some things. I hugged him goodbye. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I replied. As soon as Nate shut the door Sasha and I went to eat lunch.
*Nate's POV*
I got in my car and started it up. I was going to start looking for a ring today. Maybe I'll find one. I got to a red light. It was green, but it turned red in the snap of your fingers. "Shit!" I cursed. I waited for what seemed like forever. The light finally turned green and I started driving again.
I finally found the store and parked the car. I heard my phone vibrate and looked down at it. Aliza had texted me. I quickly answered her and went in the jewelry store.
