Chapter 9

I quit my job at the record store because I never wanted to see Andy again, I wanted him completely out of my life.

I got a new job at the coffee shop where me and Luke had the serious conversation. I couldn't stop thinking about everything Luke had said that day. It's been a week since that day, the boys were in L.A doing promos and a mini acoustic show. Luke asked if I wanted to come, but I really just wanted time by myself to just relax and I didn't really want to see Michael right now.

MICHAEL'S P.O.V

we're in L.A doing interviews and even doing a little acoustic show.

We enter the interview room and sit on the couch. We squeeze together leaving barely any room for Ashton at the end. There's 2 cameras and a girl interviewer that sits down on the chair beside me

"Ready?" She says looking at us. We all nod our head and say yes. "Hello, I'm here with 5 seconds of summer. The band swooshing the nation." We all smile at her words. "So first things first. Any girlfriends? I'm looking at you Luke" we all turn to Luke.

"Uhm no, we're all single." Luke states the truth.

"Really? So who was that girl you were with in Australia? I recall you guys went out for coffee and it looked like a date." The interviewer said smiling with curiosity in her voice. We all knew who she was talking about.

"Oh, Angie. She's just a good friend" the sound of her name made my heart skip a beat. I missed her, she hasn't talked to me since the day we kissed and I haven't stopped thinking about her.

"Oh, okay."

The rest of the interview was kind of a blur, just talking about new music and the tour and what are plans are. But I couldn't stop thinking of Angie.

ANGIE'S P.O.V

I get home from work and plop down onto the couch. I check my twitter feed as normal, and I see 'who's Angie' trending on twitter. I look through the trend and see that the trend was about me. There were pictures of me and Luke at the coffee shop and a link to an interview. I click on the interview and watch it.

The interviewer introduces them, and then she asks the first question.

"So first things first, any girlfriends? I'm looking at you Luke." All the boys just looked at each other not really knowing why she was asking Luke.

"Uhm no. We're all single" Luke replies with straight up confidence.

"Really? So who was that girl you were with in Australia? I recall you guys went out for coffee and it looked like a date" wait, was she talking about me? I didn't even know anyone knew we were there.

"Oh Angie, she's just a good friend." I hear Luke say my name and I froze. They were talking about me. That trend was about me and Luke.

I stop watching the interview and was confused. Did people actually think me and Luke were together? I guess I had to get used to all the rumours that will go around if I'm going to hang around Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael.
