Fandom - Undertale

Characters - Young Sans, Young Papyrus. Later : Sans, Papyrus

Prompt - Fluff. Sans give Papyrus some words of encouragement. Years later, Paps does the same. :>

Warnings - Terrible writing and some swearing (only in authors note-)

Sans PoV

It had been a long day at the lab. I had just opened the door and walked in when I noticed Papyrus on the couch. He looked nervous, but he was sleeping? Oh well. I get an idea and bend down over to kneel beside him. "Hey Paps, you don't have to worry. You're the great Papyrus and nobody can even reach your level of amazing-ness." He whispered into his brother's ear and kept doing that until his eyes glowed a bright green, which meant that he was happy. I said things like "You're going to be the smartest and strongest monster one day" and "I love you." I smile a little bit and lay down on the couch beside him. I slowly drift off to sleep as the night gets colder. 

No POV

Papyrus woke up and felt happier. He noticed his eye was glowing a bright green color. He tried to get up when he notices the small skeleton beside him. His eye glowed a little more brighter when he saw Sans. He was glad his brother was safe and happy. With that, he decided to go back to sleep. He wasn't going to be able to go anywhere anyways. He settled back down again and closed his eyes. He drifted off to sleep..

Papyrus PoV

I had just finished training with Undyne and was cooking my famous spaghetti for my brother and I! When I had finished, I called him down. But, being the lazy skeletons he is. He didn't come down. He was probably sleeping. I stomped up the stairs and opened the door to his room. He was more calm than usual, but not relaxed either. I make my way to his side and sit down. I remember something that happened years ago and decide to do the same for him. (Author's note here. I fucking hate this line-) I start whispering things like "I believe in you." and "Maybe your puns aren't that bad." Of course, the great Papyrus would never admit that to Sans while he was conscious, but I can give him this. His puns made me laugh only once. Just once! His puns are still absolutely annoying. But, they weren't terrible. I unsuccessfully didn't make his eye glow green, but he seemed happy... Now that I think of it, his room was a mess. Good thing the Great Papyrus was going to clean it! Though, he needed to get Sans out of the room. I pick up the light skeleton and carry him to my room. I set him down on my bed and exit the room. First though, I need to eat! I'll let Sans sleep in this one time. He can eat later. I smile to myself and go off to eat.

(2020, Jul 31 : Can I express how much I hate this Oneshot? Sorry people who like it, I strongly don't. I mean, the prompt is cute but I can't write. It's also pretty cringey. ;-;)
