Aria walked up the stairs to apartment 3B, her boyfriend, Ezra's apartment. She didn't know how to break this all to him. What would she say? She just had to protect him, she couldn't let him get hurt again. She just couldn't.
Aria arrived to the door. She hesitated before knocking. She knocked twice when the door swung open.
"Hey Aria!" Ezra said giving her a hug.
She could smell his cologne, he always smelt so good. Aria was lost in thought, "What do I say?" "Will he hate me forever?" Aria couldn't do this, she burst into tears.
"What's wrong? " Ezra asked worried hugging her tighter.
Ezra waited for a response, nothing. Just more tears streaming down her face.
"Aria you can tell me, I love you so much. Whatever you say won't change that. I can fix-" Aria cut him off pulling away from the hug.
"You can't fix it Ezra, you just can't! I love you too, but I can't do this!" Aria yelled as tears rolled down her pale face.
"What? What do you mean you can't do this, what happened Aria?" Ezra said as a tear trickled down his face.
"I- I can't tell you, it's for the best. I love you so much Ezra, and that is why I'm doing this. I have to say goodbye." Aria said running out of apartment 3B.
