The first correspondence

Kassies POV

"Why don't you just talk to him? I bet he didn't even say that about you Kass"

Natalie swears this guy likes me back, but I have no feelings for him whatsoever now.

"He did say that, because everyone told me he had spoke of me in that cruel way."

I had recently found out that Brandon called me fat and ugly. Brandon lives in Natalies apartment complex and hes in our friend circle. But there is no way I will give a man my attention if he speaks low of me.

"The only reason he comes to my house is to see you. Its so obvious that he likes you Kass."

"Stop. I don't care hes-"

The doorbell had rung and the dogs started to bark. I went to open the door and how convenient, it was Brandon himself.

"What do you want" I asked.

Brandons POV

Fuck, shes pissed.

"Kassie I never said that about you. The guys are just being assholes I really like you." I replied.

"I don't believe you nor do I care, goodbye Brandon." She started to close the door.

"Wait! Just. Let me make it up to you." I didnt know what to say, really, I didnt want to lose her when I barely had her in the first place.

Kassie laughed a little, "how do you expect to do that? You called me rude names and it hurt my feelings."

"Okay first of all, no, I didnt. Also, Id like to take you on a date. Please give me one chance. You can come over for dinner tomorrow night. I'll make a fancy dish for you. Wear something nice, be there by 7pm." I sounded kind of pathetic but she totally bought it.

She said okay and shut the door. I walked back up to my apartment and called my aunt Jackie and said that I needed some advice. I basically told her everything me and Kassie said to each other, Jackie told me that I should wear a nice suit or a tux and that I should cook some chicken for her. It wasn't that good of advice but it would have to work.

Kassies POV

Once I had closed the door I sat back down on the couch with Natalie. She was looking at me, giving me an "I told you so" kind of look.
