"So you are telling me," Envy says with her chin raised. "My personal assistant, a coward, did all of this?"
Ryan Mauve. Bella Piper. Anika Menon. Louis Bender.
"Yes," replies Zac with a stoic expression. "He announced it multiple times actually, claiming that he aligned himself with Adreanna for the sake of The Empire."

"Did he now," she quirks a brow. "So tell me... how exactly he managed to do this."

"By commanding those fiends. Once Olivia killed Wallace Weasleton, they stopped and formed into a singular... ball. They mended into one then escaped via the roof. Olivia was the one who figured out that Wallace was in fact controlling them though, leading him responsible."

"Is that right Olivia?"
"Ryan Mauve. Bella Piper. Anika Menon. Louis Bender," I whisper looking at mother intently. "I went to school with them and saw them everyday. Now I won't. Strange."
Envy tuts and merely shakes her head, staring at Lucifer with a look of displeasure, "She's lost the plot."
"Pride?" I ask softly as the original demon with cold eyes snaps his attention to me. Mourning. Like the rest of us. "I'm sorry I wasn't there. I could have helped."
The demon simply nods, looking down to his hands. Losing a child will never be easy, especially since Pride is notoriously proud of his household. He raised the kids alongside his one wife, brought joy and happiness into their lives meanwhile raising them in a prosperous kingdom. One of the better demons who actually cared.
"We don't have time for this," Wrath says enraged. "We must strike now-"
"No we can't. She'll be expecting this," I speak strongly. "I have a theory."
"We don't have time for-"
I cut Gluttony off with a slam of my hand on the table, "Do you want to potentially kill of any other demons?"
He only glowers before residing back into his seat.
"As I was saying," I begin. "The attack was merely testing our capabilities and was executed to cause a reaction."
"Why do you say this?" Wrath asks with genuine interest, placing a hand on her prominent bump.
"Think about it. Why would Adreanna send such a small minded individual such as Weasleton? A boy who doesn't know the first thing about tactics? Plus, why the school and why not The Centre? He could have done it here, set of explosives right under your noses... but he didn't. In fact traveled all the way to the human realm with those monsters to piss us off.
"Olivia speaks truths," Wrath agrees with a sigh. "It doesn't make any sense. Plus Zac mentioned that Weasleton took you to the atrium, which again is a silly plan. With Pride's wings there could have easily been an overhead assault. Plus, what was he waiting for? Unless it was Adreanna's orders."
"Which it could just be," I mutter. "Putting so many demons in one area is not a good idea. With all our different abilities it could overwhelm those monsters. So why would she tell him that if she did?"
"Since that wasn't the goal," Romulus puts it simply, taking his mother's hand and helping her sit down gently. "Like you said, it was for reaction."
