Lauren just sat there with her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.

“Want to try that again? This time at least try to be convincing?”

Lauren looked into her favorite brown eyes. All she could see was empathy and love. She took a deep breath and let out a sigh.

“I didn’t want you to find out this way.”

There was a silence, both girls deciding their next words.

“Wh-, uh who else knows?” Camila quietly asked.

“Just you and Brad.”

“Brad knew before me?” Camila asked with hurt.

“I think, you’d agree it was hard to tell you. I didn’t even want to tell you…well not like this anyway.”

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, it’s just…wow I was so used to you coming to me for things. I’m sorry.”

“You’re taking this…uh rather well?” Lauren said confused.

“Well, of course. I’ll support you, Lauren. Always. I’ll be by your side, no one is messing with you.”

Lauren smiled as a thanks. She was still pretty confused at Camila’s reaction.

“Honestly, thanks Camz. You don’t understand how good this feels. I thought you’d run away and ignore me or laugh at me or just cut me off from your life. I couldn’t handle that. That’s why I couldn’t tell you, but this feels good to get off my chest.”

“I’m sorry you thought you couldn’t tell me. I’m surprised and all, I didn’t know you were into girls considering all the times you confronted the Camren rumors, but it’s okay. I still love you, Lo. Its gonna take more than just you being into girls to get me to cut you off from my life.” Camila rested her hand on Lauren’s knee, comforting her. “She’s got to be pretty special.
