I remember the first day we met.

It was December 7, 2009.

I walked to the Starbucks over on Philips Street by the bakery and I had just gotten done with voice lessons.

I was humming 'Isn't She Lovely' By Stevie Wonder.

"I'll have the large green tea, please." I smiled sweetly. "Coming right up. Is that all I can get you today?" The cashier said."Yes that's all." I wanted more but it was to much to say. I had to rest my voice for about a week or so. I had strep last week and my throat was horribly strained. It hurt so bad but it was a small price to pay to be reaching my dreams.

I payed and got my tea and started to walk down the street to the bakery.

"How can I help you today?" I heard coming from a boy from behind the counter. I smiled and he smiled back and showed his dimples. I walked up to the counter and looked at the show cases. "Yes, i'de like two French breads, please." I looked up from the show case to be caught in his green eyes. God they we're so green.

"Comin' right up!" He showed his dimples again and I couldn't control my smile. "Thanks!" I sat down in the seats at the front of the bakery and drank my tea and started to hum Stevie Wonder again. That's when I heard the most beautiful voice coming out of the kitchen. "Isn't she lovely. Isn't she woooonderfulllll. Isn't she precious. Less then one minute ooold." It was in perfect harmony with my voice. I got butterflies in my stomach.

"I love that song. Do you sing?" He asked. I nodded and smiled. "Let me guess, soprano right?" I was shocked. "Yea how did you...?" He got a cheeky smirk on his face. "We actually go to the same school." he interrupted "Believe it or not. I heard you in the talent show last year and let's just say I was...hypnotized."

He winked at me. I smiled and blushed a little. A *DING* came from the kitchen. He left and came back with my bread. "That's 20 pounds, soprano." I laughed and gave him the money. He handed me my bread and held his other hand out. "I'm Harry, by the way. Harry Styles." He showed his dimples again and his eyes sparkled. "It's nice to meet you, Harry. Or do you prefer bass?" I winked returning his cheakyness. He laughed. "Alright, do ya got a name soprano?"

"As much a I like soprano, I prefer Ellie." I smiled. "Ellie Lighten

"Nice to meet you,Ellie."

"Nice to meet you, too." I smiled. I just couldn't help it. He had this thing about him. I don't know what it was but I liked it. "Do you have a number

to go with the name?" He said. I laughed and we exchanged numbers. "Call me sometime. I'de love to hear more if that soprano voice of yours."

"Dido." I winked before walking out he door. That was the beginning of our friendship.
