Lucy pov (age 7)

I was outside playing with my dolly hope I named her hope because I always loved that name mommy told me once that she loved that name because hope is a possive name that can make any one hopeful in life.

As I was playing with hope I heard yelling in side the house and it sounded like mommy and daddy I got up and went inside the house to see mommy and daddy yelling at each other.

I stand there and watch not knowing what to do i just stand there and watch them .

Next thing I know daddy hits mommy hard and she falls to the ground and starts crying.

"Mommy!" I yell and run over to her.

Daddy looks at me in surprise and regret and then looks back at mommy and turns pale.

"L-Layla I'm so sorry I d-didn't mean to I..." Daddy got cut off

"No Jude! I'm done I want a divorce!" My mommy yells while holding me tightly and crying I lift my hand up and wipe her tears away and she smiles softly at me.

"Y-you want a d-divorce?" He ask in shock and mommy nods while looking down at the floor

"I just can't do this Jude not anymore we have growing apart for over a year and I just can't take it anymore you told me that you don't love me anymore be so I am doing this for both of us" mommy wispers but loud enough for Daddy to hear.

''Then we will get a divorce " says daddy and he walks away and up the stairs.

And I didn't know it yet but that's when my hole world changed in that second in that one fight my life changed my world was flipped over and my eyesight in life changed, my eyesight in love changed no one can be trusted.
