"Pablo..."

Aderet Marlowe- Pardon; Lady Aderet Marlowe- stared at the large signboard that read 'Poker Face', just above the glass door through which she could see lights and silhouettes moving fast, dancing the Charleston probably, judging by the jazzy tune that barely reached her ears from just across the street. Her long, wavy brown hair was disheveled and her long, droopy, purple evening gown was slipping slightly off her shoulder. She was holding her heels in one hand and her purse in the other; Aderet had had one hell of a night. If one knew no better, one would have said she had spent a night in the jungle, running from a wild lion. One corner of her mouth pulled slightly upwards, fashioning her lips into a gentle smirk, just at the thought. That trumpet player she had spent the past night- and most of the current day- with had been, in his own manner, a wild lion himself.
She giggled and blushed, gaining a few odd looks from the strangers walking up and down the road beside her.
It had been a wild, exhausting night, but Aderet wasn't the kind of gal to go home and get into bed after such an adventure. Nope, it was time to celebrate, so music! And perhaps she might be able to come across some alcohol as well if she befriended the right people. She had noticed the absence of a guard at the entrance, so perhaps this mysterious new place was just a ballroom or a fancy club, after all.
She sighed and made her way across the road towards this new place. She liked the name, it suited it very well. Once she had reached the door, she carefully slipped her heels back on, ignoring the aching pain throbbing all through her heels and toes and ankles. She stepped into the club, suddenly engulfed by the music and laughter and all the people around her dancing and chattering joyfully.

"Pablo, please! It never could have worked, I'm a sagittarius and you're a-"

Aderet turned her head to the far end of the bar. There, in front of an open door that seemed to lead into another part of the bar, stood a young woman with pitch-black hair and a glimmer, sparkly, knee-length evening dress, and just a few feet away from her a rather angry looking and untidy young man. The girl had almost finished speaking, only to be hastily interrupted by the man.

"And to think rosemary is the flower of love and loyalty!" He shouted un quite a theatrical manner, falling onto his knees in front of her and clenching his fists tightly.

Aderet was rather intrigued by the whole ordeal and decided to be nosy more from up close, so she silently made her way through the crowd that had gathered around the couple, until she was just a couple of feet away from the girl.
The girl, on the other hand, who had previously seemed more or less laid back compared to her somewhat irritated counterpart, seemed to be growing progressively impatient with his rude manners.

"Well guess what?" She shouted back at him, suddenly clasping a large glass of what might have been juice in her hands.

"-it's also used as a seasoning for chicken!"

And as soon as she had completed this last sentence, she tossed the contents of the glass straight into the man's face.
Everyone in the room gasped loudly and watched in silence. Even the band had stopped playing as the man slowly stood back up on his feet, glaring at the girl. It was time to put a stop to this. Aderet took a step forward, standing right between the two, facing the man, and that's when it all stopped. She stared at the familiar face, and he stared back at her, just as alarmed as she was.
"Pablo..."
She whispered menacingly under her breath. The man she had gotten into a rather physical fistfight just two days before, brought his hand up to his temple, touching the two deep gashes just above his eyebrow. Aderet grimaced slightly, reminding herself to perhaps trim her nails more often as to avoid eventually getting sued by her next opponent.

"You!" Pablo growled. He looked pretty much ready to attack both the girls at that point, but a tall figure stepped in out of nowhere, towering over Pablo and both the young women.

"Get out of my club."
