I've been training in the Imperial academy for twelve years. I do the same routine every single day. I just woke up.
Time to go down to the barracks to put on my armour. I've spent my whole life in a large Imperial base on the planet Kashyyk. After twelve years training here the base begins to feel small. I have arrived at the barracks time to put on my stormtrooper armour. It takes about ten minutes to put in on. It feels hot in the amour especially on a planet like Kashyyk. The heat here is everywhere. Soldiers passing out on the battlefield can be an issue sometimes.
After the armour is on I have a breakfast in the cafeteria. I have permission to take off my helmet at this time. The food here isn't usually great, but could be worse. After that, I began training. I work on target practice for two hours. Then hand-to-hand combat against other troops for two hours. I spend the rest of the day working out. Occasionally my general will ask me to go on a scout mission around our base. Nothing to crazy. I'm not sure why though. Nothing ever happens out here. I gladly except the missions whenever assigned to me though. After all, I have nothing better to do.
I can't wait for a real mission. People are always talking about these rebels attacking our bases. They sound like monsters, I want to personally punish them.

A soldiers life isn't always running around winning battles. Whenever they get down- time they always spend it training or eating.
