Molly. That was the name of the doll that the owner called Lily believed had murdered her baby brother.

But of course, her parents never believed her.

No matter how many times she yelled and cried, they told her to never mention such nonsense. All Lily could feel towards her parents was anger and frustration. To calm her down, her parents had chucked Molly in a nearby lake. Afterwards, Lily felt safer from the absence of Molly.

But that feeling didn't last long.

Lily had awoken to a sickening feeling, which lead her walking through the darkness of the hallway, towards her parents bedroom. As she had gotten closer to the door, something made her hesitate, nearly afraid to enter the room where her parents slept peacefully.

Lily ignored the feeling and softly knocked on her parent's bedroom door, then silently listened for any response throughout the silence. After a moment of silence, a thud had echoed throughout the house, making her jump in fright.

All of a sudden, the door slowly opened, revealing the bodies of her parents. But something quickly caught her eye.

The blood that soaked her parents dead bodies.

Then that was when the croaky cackle brought her attention to Molly. She sat at the end of the bed, covered entirely in Lily's parent's own blood.

Slowly, a wicked grin had formed on Molly's bloody lips as the same cackle left it's mouth.

Lily couldn't move, nor could she breathe. All she could do was look into Molly's glassy green eyes, which Molly did back.

Silence. Silence could only be heard.

That was until a scream took Lily out from her daze. Her eyes immediately looked directly at the source of the scream and she let out a horrified scream.

Exactly what her mother was doing.

Drenched in thick, dark blood, her mother screamed, then again from the sight of her father beside her. But Molly's cackling made them both abruptly stop.

Before Lily could see the disappearance of Molly, cold hands wrapped around her ankles and pulled.

The last thing Lily remembered before her death was darkness and her own frightened screams.

Thankyou for choosing to read this! It's short but it is something scary for you to read (I don't think it was)!

I might rewrite this or play with the plotline and make it a novel, I don't really know. So right now it is completed!

Again, thankyou so much for reading Molly!
