Friendship Has No Goodbye

Chapter 2

This story began in the year 2017 when they passed their 10th and moved to different colleges. It’s usually common for such epic friendship stories to begin in school and last for life, but their friendship began only after school. Their confirmation classes which started soon after 10th was over, and their youth group activities, brought them all a lot closer than school ever did. That year was the beginning of a fresh and exciting new gang. This was an epic fun story to be told. 

One of their first youth events together was Parents Day. Each of them along with the youth group worked hard to make this day a success. Such events usually create close bonds among people, as it did for this group. The youth group worked on this event as they meant it because they wanted it to be really special for the parents. That is what is called true dedication to an event and not half-assing it just to get it over with. On Parents Day since the gang was dressed formally and they had no pictures together, they took one of their first ones on that day. That day was probably one of their first great memories together. And the group picture would forever remind them of their first-ever youth event together.

The president of the youth group arranged for a trek as a fun way to boost the morale of the other members since they worked well on parent’s day. Any picnic always begins with the awesome bus ride which includes singing songs, playing games, the pranksters having their fun with their jokes. Along the trek up the hill, they wade through the nearby small waterfalls and had quite a few hilarious moments. One of those said hilarious moments was when Jack’s pants tore during the trek and a girl pointed it out to him that his underwear could be seen which obviously gave him a hell of embarrassment and he changed his pants right there near a waterfall (He better wear good pants next time).

They clicked a lot of pictures together and some of these memories would probably be imprinted in their mind forever. Jack helped some of the girls to climb because he's the friendly flirty Bunny of the group (YJHD reference). While returning home, he entertained everyone on the bus by talking some rubbish Marathi and dancing. He also troubled Ash while he was sleeping who gave loads of swear words in reply which resulted in the entire bus roaring with laughter. It was a memorable trip. A trek to remember.
  

Social media being the key to friendship nowadays, they were connected by conference calls and their WhatsApp group "BROTHERS FOR LIFE". Alisha being the tomboy of the group, they all saw each other as bros. While everyone else was getting closer, Alisha and Jack were developing a different kind of bond. It wasn't love. It was a deep and special bond of friendship. One of the events which brought them closer was Baarish Hungama.

This year’s Baarish Hungama event was blessed with abundant heavy rains. Alisha needed a jersey for the event so Jack went early in the morning to his friend's house to get one for her. This event included some fun activities in the rain with their youth group. In the excitement of the activities, Alisha ruined Jack’s jersey but such moments end up as good memories later on. They both built up a good bond of teamwork and friendship during this event. Their group pictures showed all the fun. Ash and Messi were missing from the group pictures, unfortunately.
