So finally confirmation week was here and everyone was busy preparing for it with confirmation practices. Alice Ma’am chose Alisha for the reading at the confirmation. During practices, Jack was making light jokes on Alisha's reading and she didn't mind either. Alice Ma’am warned Alisha to stay away from the group for the week. But the group continued fooling around to a point that Alisha became uncomfortable too. But since some of the teachers didn't like the way she was reading they were planning to replace her. As soon as Jack hears of it, he asked one of their friends to help her with her reading and he pleads Alice Ma’am to let her read one last time. This time she read so well that everyone started clapping for her. The teachers changed their minds and agreed to keep her. Alice Ma’am appreciated the group since she had  seen such unity among friends.

The D-Day was finally here. Confirmation Day. Everyone was super excited. This was an important ceremony in the lives of Catholics as they got confirmed in Christ which also included their permission for marriage. As this day was usually on 26th January, the group had formerly had planned to dress up traditionally. But since it got postponed to 25th February, the boys decided to go old school in formals with a bow-tie and suspenders. John and Leo came up to Jack’s house. The three of them got ready and along with Ash headed to the church.

Alisha, in a beautiful green gown, was waiting at the school entrance for them and was wondering whether they would arrive only after the ceremony was over (Punctuality problems). As they arrived, Alisha was surprised to see the boys dressed so similarly as she wasn't expecting the bow-tie and suspenders. What an entrance they had in the classroom, with the whole crowd cheering as they saw the gang enter. It truly was a stunning moment as the group looked absolutely fabulous together.

They entered the church in pairs. Everything from the offerings to Alisha’s reading went very smoothly. Father blessed every one of them as they got confirmed in Christ. And thus confirmation mass had come to an end. Everyone returned to the class to receive some return gifts and certificates. It was the last day the confirmation group would see each other so it was a pretty emotional moment. Some of them would be seeing each other for the last time. Then of course everyone got busy clicking group pictures. Jack and John searched for Alice Ma’am to take a group picture with her. You know how there’s always one teacher in school with whom you have a special bond. That’s what they had with Alice Ma’am. And since confirmation was over, they wouldn’t get to meet her as much as they usually got to.

When they finally found her, they took pictures and had a fun chat with her. She congratulated them on their license of marriage (as a joke). After they left the church, they headed to Jack’s house first for the cake cutting, and then they all went to each and everyone's house to celebrate. Jack was busy enjoying at everyone's place except his own. The aroma of feasts of delicious food was wafting across the whole area. This was not only an important day for the kids but also their families. The day ended on a good note with a bit of cheeriness in the air.

They planned for a movie the next day, Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety. While the entire group was ready to go, John ditched them at the last moment as he was busy with something. The movie began and everyone got engaged with the movie. As the movie was ending, Ash cheered so loudly you could make out how much he really loved the movie. This movie really does hit home, especially with friends. It truly symbolizes that true friendship will always win over fake love.
