Summer vacations had finally started and the stress of exams and homework was finally over. As summer began, it was a mix of weirdness and boredom,
as the usual summers. One of the weird events of summer went something like this...A random account going by the name ‘Sheru’ first began texting Alisha and Jack. The person apparently found them both so cute together, he urged them to date. Emphasize on the ‘urged’. They were teased and told by many to date since they always were together and would look great as a couple. But never had they come across such a persistent person. He\she didn’t just stop there after being denied by both of them, the person texted each of the group members with the suggestion of the pair dating. He pestered everyone for quite a few days regarding the same topic.
It being a fake account, the group analyzed the situation. This person could either be a psychopath or could be having a crush on either of them. By getting them to date, he\she could potentially ruin their bond. It was a little too much ‘James Bond’ planning just for a crush but there didn’t seem to be any other possibilities. After being harassed for a few days, the person finally left them alone and the gang kept the matter aside.
One of the days they were so bored, they decided to head to the National Park. Just taking a few belongings, they climbed onto a local train. They were so bored and lazy, they ended up just going to Borivali station and coming back. While taking a train back from Borivali, until the train was stopped, the group went to the ladies' compartment to hang out with the girls. The train started, and while the guys managed to change compartments Jack was a bit too slow. He ended up getting caught later on but was let go with a warning. It turned out to be a funny story later on for the group to laugh at. They went back home and chilled at Jack’s place. Imagine going all the way to Borivali just for nothing. Seems useless I know but the number of laughs and memories was worth it.
As Lent was coming to an end, the group was well prepared to have a good Easter. They planned to spend the night after mass at Alisha's place. They were a little worried that they didn't have enough funds for the alcohol but Leo's brother Lenny came through by sponsoring their booze. As soon as mass was over, the guys headed to Alisha's place with the alcohol. They played games like Never have I ever, truth and dare, bottoms up, etc. the usual drinking games. The games which always manage to spill secrets.
The guys later went out at night to go get dinner. Alisha's mom, who believed in the unholy spirits, put holy water on the boys who went out to get the dinner at 2 a.m. And while they were eating, she started a good session of ghost stories as she had a lot of good ones. Soon after, they all slept after a tiring day that they had. Their morning was a bit disturbed with the loud motor that started up which ruined their morning a little. But all in all, it was a great Easter.
You can’t mention summers without days at the cinema of course. Avengers Infinity war was on the guy’s list of movies to watch but since the girls hadn’t seen the previous movies, they ditched the former plan and went for an Impromptu movie plan. ‘October’ turned out to be a really sweet movie and they had no regrets for it. As the movie ended, they were all famished and headed to McDonald's for lunch. The week before, they had seen the movie ‘Rampage’ together and also came up to quite a high bill in Cafe Coffee Day for their lunch(unknowingly of course). Thankfully Gary saved the day by paying off the extra bill amount.
