October began with John’s birthday right around the corner. The gang arrived at his place on the midnight of 5th October, armed with things to mess up his face. They took their full revenge from their previous birthdays by smashing eggs and a whole lot of other stuff. Jack and Ash collected mud and shit and dirty water and poured it all over john. Since they all were pretty messy, the guys except Ash took off their shirts and clicked pictures with John (not before pouring a bucket of Dettol over him). Alisha joked around saying they had no abs to show off.

During the day, while chilling at John’s place, he promised to give them a treat. The next day, the group arrived at Annaleela and awaited John’s arrival. He ended up being a no-show, so the group had a lovely lunch and paid their own bills (ditching your own birthday treat, now that’s ultimate betrayal). After lunch, they headed to Prime mall with the girls going in an auto while the guys, being the smartasses that they were, went in a cab. They had a jolly good time playing weird and sad songs and goofing around.

They played pool for a while. Jack taught Nayo and Alisha to play pool (you can imagine the fun he had). As Nayo was getting late, they all had to head back home. Although John couldn’t make it for his treat, the group managed to have a great time. John later sorted it out with them. October turned out to be a rough month for Jack as he had broken up with Nayo. Looking at the situation, it does look like Jack was switching girls every 6 months while Ash was still behind his girl for 6 years. Ash had a really special corner for Selene. She had captured his heart like no other.

The youth group had planned a really enjoyable winter camp week. They played some fun intense badminton matches and many other activities like them. On the last day, they organized a treasure hunt for the younger kids. As soon as winter camp was over the youth group was all set for their picnic at Farm Regency. Jack was a little disappointed at the start because Michael wouldn’t be joining them for the trip. As soon as they reached, they checked in, got their passes, and went to the hall for breakfast.

Michael surprised Jack by entering the hall with the priest. He made it for the trip after all. Jack, who was overjoyed to see him, went and hugged him. The group dived in the pools, went on some of the slides together while having loads of fun. Later they took a break, had their lunch, and chilled around a bit. It was a lovely picnic just like our usual school picnics. They took group pictures together in a garden nearby. While heading home, they each got vanilla ice cream and they ate it up while getting into the bus.

Everyone was mostly tired and asleep while some of the guys were still fooling around. Alisha leaned onto Jack’s shoulder and fell asleep but not before making a funny comment on his bony shoulders. It was a really sweet moment. Because such bus rides always give us unforgettable feelings. Though they had been told by many to date, they didn’t want to ruin that special bond of friendship that they had. With the winds blowing in through the winds, Alisha leaning onto him, Jack knew he would never forget that evening.

Jack had to cut his trip short as he needed to go to his Grandmas's house for a family function. He had to get off halfway on the journey back home. As Alisha was asleep on his shoulder, he didn’t feel like leaving, but he had no choice. But he got up in such a hurry that her head hit the armrest. He said sorry and got out in a hurry. He felt a little bad too about leaving because they were having such a good time. The rest of the group reached home.
