Way of the cross practices began in the month of March. The youth group had planned to narrate the story of Jesus through drama. They began auditions for the roles. It was a fun phase of fun and fooling around. Jack had been suggested by many, to audition for the role of Jesus. So he put his name down for it but didn’t take it much seriously. The gang would come to observe the practices, help around, and play around.

While giving his first audition, the youth group seniors really loved it. But by the end of the rounds of the audition, he forgot a line unfortunately and wasn’t selected. But no worries, he got another role and was happy with it. The rest of the gang had already received their roles in the play. During practices, the guys would annoy Jack by hitting his main parts. And once while doing so; Alisha made a joke saying he had Sabja (basil seeds) down there instead of a penis. The group erupted with laughter.

Another fun incident was when Jack was playing with Alisha’s phone in the air while he was on stage. He promised her that no harm would come to the phone. And as soon as he said that, he dropped it and it didn’t stop just at the stage, it rolled off the stage and tumbled onto the floor with a crash. Thankfully the phone was intact, but Alisha ran off behind Jack, swearing curses along the way while jack was rushing off in the opposite direction. He managed to convince her to calm down.

Ash wasn’t doing that great during the practices. He would put too many emotions which would have the opposite effect on the audience, instead of feeling sad, they would feel like laughing. The group gave him tips to make it look more convincing. The Youth President even made a role for Selene next to Ash so that he would do better. While the practices with him didn’t go too well, on the day of the play, he surprised everyone. He outdid himself with really good acting that everyone was mesmerized. Jack was so shocked that he even forgot that he had a role to play. The plan came to a smooth end and everyone was proud of themselves.

Good Friday was a busy day. The youth group spent the entire afternoon setting up for the mass. Since they had to work in the heat, by the end of it they were exhausted. They were sent home to take some rest as they were required to come to church again in the evening, to help out at the mass. Since they had worked so hard for the event, Michael invited everyone for an Easter party at his place as a reward for their efforts.

The gang went together but were separated at the party. By the peak of the party, Jack was drunk and not in his senses. When he tried contacting his friends, they were nowhere to be found. When he managed to get ahold of Alisha on the phone, they started fighting as he wasn’t exactly on his best behavior. But they managed to sort it later on as she realized that he was drunk.
