As everyone got settled into their respective colleges, August began with Gary's birthday. Jiya being the newest member of the group helped out with getting the cake with Jack. Naisha, Alisha, and Jack went to Gary's house first keeping the cake away from Gary's prying eyes into the fridge. Jiya joined them later and was shy at first but thrilled to see Naisha and Alisha's lively personalities. They set the cake on the table with candles and a lovely simple cake cutting. He loved his cake which was a bed with a chocolate truffle flavored guy on it surrounded by his phone, video games, and snacks. It was a unique and fun cake for his 18th birthday.

They then decided to head for dinner, Jiya's first dinner out with friends. They shared an Ola and since Jiya being the youngest and smallest, she got the lap seat since there wasn't enough space in the car. They headed to Pop Tate's at Sakinaka where the rest of the group would join them. They had a lovely dinner together with introductions made with Jack’s new girlfriend to the rest of the group. Everyone took pictures together and had a jolly good time. Jack and Jiya had to leave early as her parents had restrictions. So goodbyes were said and they left. All in all, Gary seemed to have had a good birthday.

Pretty soon the group was all set to celebrate Messi's birthday. The group got together at Messi's place and decorated it beautifully with pictures and balloons while Messi was out. The decor was almost done, Gary and Jack went to go pick up the cake. Naisha, Alisha, and Jiya went to the tapri to have a nice chai break. Then everyone got back together at his place, did the finishing touches, and allowed Messi to enter his own house. Yes, until the decor was not totally finished, he was banished from his own place.

He entered the house and his eyes lit up at the sight of our decor and the cake. The cake which was out of this world as it was a half-naked fat guy with McDonald's French fries next to him. It was really cute and funny. Everyone surrounded him, sang the birthday song as he cut the cake. And then the real fun started. They started smashing cake all over his face and body.

Everyone was laughing and having a great time. Messi's parents then invited the whole group for dinner at Global Fusion in Worli. Permissions granted by parents everyone headed to their homes to freshen up. Jiya being the only one not from Sahar, tagged along with Alisha to her home. Both freshened up and met up with the group near the church. While waiting for the cab, everyone just talked and passed time.

The group divided into three and came separately in different cars. Worli sea link being lit up at night and with songs playing the car, Jack’s group had a pretty chill time. At global fusion, everyone stuffed themselves with appetizers and then spent time talking, dancing a little even though it wasn't that kind of a restaurant (Jack has a great way of making anything special) Took pictures, and enjoyed the good food. Took some mango juice shots and had some really great ice cream. They left only at 1 a.m. pretty late I know, shows what a fun time everyone had. Goodbyes were exchanged and everyone headed home.

Baarish Hungama was really fun this year. Though it didn't rain much, the group did all kinds of fun group activities. Jack’s group was pretty close to winning. Everyone really enjoyed so it was a pretty good day. Jack, who had taken a Hotel management course, left it by the end of September as it was too much to take and he didn't find his happiness in it. The other reason was also that he wanted to be at the same pace as Alisha. He as a friend felt that he didn’t want to leave her behind. He instead did some part-time work at an event management company with the help of Nigel (Alice Madam’s son) and he really enjoyed it.
