Merlin played with Choji more that day and the next and the next and the next.

Until a week passed and then they grew closer, he was a very nice and kind kid, a bit on the soft side. He was the total manifestation of a real life Teddy Bear.

She was tempted to hug him but fears that the child will be too much embarrassed by the feat.

She layed down on the ground, hiding on their hiding base, a hand supporting her head as she tilted it to look at Choji who was eating his chips in peace. Today was too boring for her liking.

The base was full of hand-made flowers, balls, butterflies and bears she and Choji collected from their own home.

This was their home, hers and Choji.

She started to hum to herself, remembering her childhood past where she would stay late watching Disney movies and singing songs and thinking of herself as a princess.

She had gathered data about this world too. There were ninjas around this world and there were a school for Shinobi, the academy, in which the starting age were six, a year above her age. There were five great nations in which the population was dominated by shinobi rather than civilians.

This world was a lot closer to SAO than what she had originally thought.

It all connects back to one thing. Killing.

She didn't know when this illusion will end but she'll just wait and wait.

Her heart aches at the thought of this as something fake. Sakura was Merlin and Merlin was Sakura. Yū were hidden inside her heart, locked because she was always scared that this world was—

An illusion given by Akihiko Kayaba as he watches over her and possibly a thousand more, laughing before he destroys their comforts.

"What are you humming, Sakura-chan?" He asked as Merlin stopped her humming, watching the boy look at her with tilted head.

"A song." She replied as she sat up, her legs crossed and her hand between them. She smiled to the boy as he thrusted his bag of chips to her.

"Eh." He hummed as she took a chip, crunching on it and humming as the flavor exploded inside her mouth. One thing she founded about this world was Soda was nowhere to be found, the most famous drinks were juices and sake.

The latter, she mused, was probably popular with the adults.

"Sing it for me?" He asked. What a polite kid, the bullies from before totally was not even half the kid Choji was. Choji, he's the kind of kid that would quickly capture your heart at how soft and kind he is.
