Love is love

After Uenoyama finished playing at his underground concert, his other two friends noticed that the song he made seemed to be sad. They were debating whether to ask if he was okay or just keep silent. Uenoyama went outside of the underground concert to take a breather.
As he was outside, his fellow band member joined along with him. He had short blonde hair, and muscular built. His name is Akihiko Kaji. He got a drink from the vending machine, and also gave one to Uenoyama.

"Are you in love with someone?" He bluntly asked. Uenoyama didn't respond, Akihiko then looked at him and notice he was blushing, while he was trying to cover his face with his hands. "N-no way, for real?" Akihiko was shocked. "Is it wrong?" Uecchi asked. "If you like that person, go for it. You're allowed to like anyone whatever gender they are." What Akihiko responded with, made Uenoyama realize that he truly likes Mafuyu more than he thinks he does.

"Love is just love isn't it? Why should we hide our love for someone with the same gender."
Akihiko stated. Uecchi was shocked that Akihiko could even say some wise words, but he is right. There's no reason to hide your love for someone that is the same gender. Uenoyama has a suspicion that Akihiko might also like someone that is the same gender.
"Do you also like guys?" Uecchi asked.
"Why? Do you also think it's wrong?" Akihiko asked. Uenoyama nodded no. He then thanked Akihiko for courage words. "Who is the person you like?" Akihiko bluntly asked again. Uenoyama head overheated and he told Akihiko, and when he told him.
Akihiko realized that the person that Uecchi was describing happened to be there at the concert.

"The person was probably here at the concert."
Akihiko stated. Uenoyama was in shocked and had to ask if he wasn't kidding. "Wait. Really?"
Aki nodded. "He was all the way in the back though." Uenoyama then began feeling embarrassed, after all he didn't think Mafuyu would watch. "He must've heard the last song then." Uecchi became bright red and covered his face with his hands. "Was the song about him?" Kaji asked. Uenoyama nodded while trying to calm down. Akihiko was in full shock today. Then the both of them continued talking about it as they head back inside.

Meanwhile.

"Mafuyu are you alright?" Yuki asked.
He then nodded yes. "I just want to rest for today." Mafuyu stated. They both went to the bedroom and embraced each other on the bed.
They both shared the late evening together.
Time was passing by, and all Mafuyu could think about is Uenoyama, he then fell asleep in Yuki's arms.

The next day.

Another day at school, Mafuyu wasn't to happy to go to school today but he will try to. This time as he was going to school, he saw Uenoyama. He wanted to catch up to him, but around him, his friends were also there. Instead he just walked behind him from a far distance. As Mafuyu got inside the school building, he noticed that Uenoyama is alone now. He walked towards him but a random girl happened to appear and started greeting him.
Mafuyu missed his chance to talk to him. He will try again during lunchtime maybe.

As he went to class, time was passing. It had become lunch time. He walked to the stairwell area, as he went inside, Uenoyama was not there again. He went to go visit his classroom hoping that he is there. As he went to Uenoyama classroom, he tried looking inside while standing by the door. Then a student asked if he was looking for someone, Mafuyu nodded no. And telling the person it's okay.
As Uenoyama was sitting at his desk, he noticed Mafuyu standing by the classroom doors with a student. He stood up and walked towards the both of them.

"Is something wrong?" Uenoyama asked.
Mafuyu looked at him without saying a word.
The student asked if he knew Mafuyu and Uenoyama said yes, then the student walked away afterwards.  "Do you want to eat lunch with my friends and I?" Uecchi asked.
"Is it alright for me too?" Mafuyu asked.
Uenoyama nodded yes, and let him come by his desk. The both of them ate lunch together, also with Uecchi's friends as well.

The minute that lunch was almost over, Mafuyu wanted to talk to Uenoyama in private for a bit, they both went to another classroom but the classroom they both went into was empty.
"So.. what did you want to talk about?" Uecchi nervously asked. "Yesterday... did you not want to hang out with me anymore?" Mafuyu carefully asked. Uenoyama sighed and told him it's not that. Then he told him that he just wanted time off from him. Mafuyu looked at him and started to cry a bit. "Am I... annoying? Was I being to annoying." Uecchi looked at him with a shocked look and he was panicking while trying to comfort him.
"I'm sorry that I'm annoying, b-but please continue to be friends with me." Mafuyu said as he was crying. "I'll still be friends with you."
Uenoyama stated, he almost had confessed as well but he decided to keep it a secret.

He pulled Mafuyu closer to him, and hugged him in his arms. He did that so Mafuyu could calm down a bit. Uenoyama's heart was thumping so fast that he was scared that Mafuyu could hear it. As they were hugging, the bell rung. As the both of them have calmed down and they went ahead and walked back to class. Uenoyama really wanted to be happy with him, but he also wants Mafuyu to just be happy, he was fine with that.

While Uenoyama was walking behind him, he mumbled the words. "I like you." But Mafuyu didn't hear and turned to asked Uecchi if he said something. Uenoyama nodded no. And they both went back to their assigned class.
Hours passed by, and by the end of the school day. The two of them walked home together.
This time they didn't hang out. Mafuyu felt the distance that Uenoyama put between them,
he didn't like it but he's doing it just for Uenoyama, because he wanted that.

The more they started becoming distant the more Uenoyama had time for himself like before. And Mafuyu tried hanging out with Yuki more during that time.

I feel better from yesterday that lowkey made me so sad, anyways this is a bit happier? I hope it is, I love uenoyama.
