Chapter 36

(A/N: Hey guys, just to let you know, I am doing my best to catch up with this story and get more chapters completed, I have fortunately managed to get another chapter and a half done over this weekend, so I'm happy to post the next chapter! I do also have a couple of days off work where I plan to spend as much time as possible writing, perhaps by next weekend I could have another two chapters completed, who knows, but that's what I hope for! This chapter doesn't just end on a cliffhanger, you'll probably 'hate' me, but there are two cliffhangers, if you're confused by how I've managed it, wait and see, haha. Addison's POV

I return home and see that Richards car is in the driveway, I wasn't expecting him to still be here. It's just after 2pm, did I give them enough time to do their thing? Are they running behind? I park up and go inside.

"Hello, babe, I'm home" I call out.

"In the kitchen" I hear Stefan. I walk through and find Stefan and Richard chilling in the kitchen with a drink each in their hands. Stefan, my handsome man as always, is wearing a jumper with a t-shirt underneath, and black cargo trousers, Richard is wearing a checkered shirt, with a t-shirt underneath, and camouflage cargo trousers.

"Hey you two" I smile.

"Hey sweet" Richard nods. Stefan puts his cup on the counter and approaches me.

"Hey, love" He smiles and pecks my lips. "Are you alright?" He asks as he hugs me.

"I'm fine" I assure him. "I have to say, I'm surprised that you're still here Richard, I was kinda expecting you'd be gone" I say.

"I wasn't planning on still being here actually" He says.

"I don't mean to sound, you know, rude or anything, you're welcome to be here whenever you like" I assure him.

"Nah, you're sweet, don't worry" He tells me.

"Did I come back too early?" I question, hoping that I didn't interrupt anything.

"No, course not, you've timed it perfectly" Stefan promises as he puts a kiss to my forehead. "I'm glad you're back now" He says.

"I was safe the entire time, Alice and Jacob's is a safe place" I say.

"I'm glad to hear it, did you talk to him about, the situation?" He questions.

"I did, pretty much why I went there" I answer. "He gave good cop advice" I add.

"Jacob is a cop, and you went to him to ask for cop advice?" Richard questions, obviously from the other day, they do know about the stalker issue, but he's probably long forgotten about that, which is why he's questioning it.

"Stalker issues" I answer to remind him.

"Ohh right, yeah, how's all that going? You haven't passed out anymore, have you?" He questions.

"Not since then, no" I answer.

"Good, I need you two to stay happy, healthy and safe" He says.

"Why?" Stefan questions.

"You're my baby brother, and she's my lovely sister in-law, and you're both having my beautiful niece, I love you three" He answers like he's stunned that Stefan questioned that.

"Alright then, fair enough" Stefan shrugs and turns back to me. "What did Jacob say?" He asks.

"He said it's a little tricky cause the guy hasn't broken any laws as such, but he could arrange for something to be done, I'll explain it a bit more later on" I answer.
