Finn and Delilah we're sitting at the couch using their phones. Delilah was upset today. She didn't bother talking to Finn.
Finn and Delilah we're together for 4 years now and today was their 5th year anniversary and Finn forgot.
This week was upsetting for Delilah. Finn has been distant to her and has been leaving early in the morning and going home late at night.
She would always worry for Finn. Finn didn't even ask her if she was okay or not. He would just ignore her or leave with saying goodbye.
Every anniversary Finn would make a song just for her. Last year, he made a song just for her called, Hey There Delilah.
But this year, you wouldn't expect anything from Finn. He even forgot Delilah's birthday last month. Well back to the present.
Finn was scrolling through instagram, liking almost all his girl friends' pictures. Until he came across a picture that Delilah has posted.
The caption was shocking to Finn. He forgot their anniversary. He has been seeing this girl. Heather Park. He didn't even care for his own girlfriend.
"Happy Anniversary, my love." He then said kissing her cheek and going back to his phone. "You saw my post, didn't you?"
"No, I didn't. I remember our anniversary." He said. "Well if you did then where's the song you always make for me, chocolates or flowers?"
"Delilah, you know I've been busy this week, how am I suppose to make you a song?" He said. Delilah got even more upset.
"So you didn't even bother bringing me flowers?" Delilah said breaking the silence between them.
"Finn, I saw your schedule. You don't even have filming for atleast 5 months." She said.
"Can you stop acting like that? It's not like you bought me a gift." He said sounding angry by Delilah's comment.
"What do you mean? You we're the one that forgot our anniversary." She said.
"Stop being so sensitive!" Finn said shouting which made Delilah cry and scared. He would never shout at Delilah like this.
"Your so clingy. Can you just stop asking? Yes I forgot about our anniversary." He said going back to his phone.
"You forgot our anniversary to go to someone's house and stay there for the whole day." She said mumbling. Finn heard her.
"I heard that. Fine I was going to Heather's house and cheating. Are you happy now?" Delilah was shock to hear this.
"If you will do this for the rest of our lives, let's break up." She said going to their room and packing her stuff.
"Fine." Finn continued scrolling through his instagram. He thought she was just joking.
20 minutes later she was done packing. "Here's your gift by the way." She said throwing the promise ring to Finn.
"Merry Christmas." She said leaving with her suitcase. She wasn't lying. Finn looked at the ring. It was beautiful.
He started to tear up but couldn't move to catch up to Delilah. Delilah on the other hand. Thought he would come to her and apologise.
That never happened.
