After bickering for several minutes about never going back to the boardwalk because of last time, They decided to go because they were running out of time. "Okay listen to me Randi no wandering off. We're not spending the rest of the day looking for you again capisce?" Otto says to Randi making intense eye contact. "I'm not a baby dude, I just get distracted sometimes" Randi crosses her arms and sits back in her seat. Levi looks over at Omaha in the driver seat. "To be fair..to be fair you do kind of get lost every adventure". Randi scoffs in the background and Seymour chuckles under his breath. Randi nudges him with annoyance. Omaha and Levi are now looking for parking while Seymour continues to cracks jokes. They find a spot at the end of the pier "Guess we're walking....again" Otto puts his head down. "Buddy system Randi! grab your partner round and round" in a thick southern accent Seymour does a dosey doe with Randi. She pushes him off again "You Know I hate square dancing you baboon". Omaha locks arms with Seymour, skipping in on the fun. "You know he's a chimpanzee right?" Omaha and Seymour laugh and skip up the ramp. Levi walks up to Randi with Otto "let's go guys, they aren't going to wait for us". They head up the ramp as well. Omaha and Seymour are singing and dancing in the distance. We're probably going to get chicken again." Levi says while scratching his head. "Really I kinda figured we would get burritos or tacos this time" Otto says in a hopeful tone. They finally catch up to Seymour and Omaha out front of a pizzeria. "Too Slow You Slow Pizza fries To Go" Omaha and Seymour in a sing song cadence.  "Awww guys I wanted a burrito this time" Otto says again to the whole crew this time. Seymour looks at him and quickly responds "Have you ever seen a burrito joint on the edge of any beach you chum bucket?" "No, Not that I know of." Otto looks further down the pier. Levi looks at Otto then down at his watch "Welp pizza it is." They went and ordered a pizza and 2 large fries. They laughed and joked about past times. Fast forward to them leaving and heading down the pier. Levi stops and starts to take a head count. "Hold on! We're missing one !" Levi says loud enough for the crew to hear. Everyone starts looking around to see who is missing. Next thing you know Seymour is stumbling out of the pizza store. Leftovers in one hand and struggling to put his hat and varsity jacket on. "Okay Now That's everyone" Levi starts walking while shaking his head. They all head back to the truck. Omaha starts looking for her keys to let everyone in. She's starting to freak out and everyone is starting to get annoyed. As soon as she gets to the point when she's about to call someone. Seymour busts out laughing and tosses the keys at her. Omaha with tears welling in her eyes catches her keys and gives Seymour the death stare "Won't forget this". Everyone piles in the truck groaning. They travel to the dojo and Seymour mutters "we're gonna need another tree for this". Levi looks back "No we wait until the end of the mission". They finally pull up at the dojo. They rush in passing everyone in line. When the crew gets up to the front desk they see a muscular lady sitting with an....errrm happy face? She's chewing her gum aggressively as she can she says " Sign up Here and wait your turn". Mockingly In a poorly attempted old New York accent Seymour goes "awwlll the way back theruh ahh whats the matta with you?". She responds back in the same voice "that's wut wait ya turn means sweetie enjoy your wait darling". Everyone laughs at him for a change Seymour puts his head down signs his name and heads for the door. Levi stops, turns and says "Thank you ma'am please don't mind him". She smiled briefly nods and continued chewing her gum. They all walk to the very back of the line. It's down the block and wrapped around the last building, stopping at the back of the building next to dumpsters.
Fifteen minutes go by and everyone seems content with Seymour Doing his thing. Not Randi she starts by day dreaming thoughts out loud in her head. Then she starts imagining the voices for the people she's conversing with in her head. When she comes to everyone is on a completely different topic. Her mind takes her on another tangent about the weather and same Temperature foods. She starts to think how it's not really too hot right now. It's also not really cold either. Now she's thinking about the in between term name and what is the best food to eat in the medium temperature day. That got her to maybe she could find it at the nearest store. When she came to again she's not even standing with the crew anymore just two twin girls and a brother it seems just staring at her confused as to what she was doing just standing there space out. So she ventures off towards the nearest store forgetting why she was in line completely. Meanwhile The rest of the crew finally get in the dojo. They're still so stoked they still don't realize Randi is on her own side adventure. They start by doing warm up stretches and mind calming techniques. Just as they learn they're first combinations of moves Seymour gets the giggles. The sensei is giving him an eye contact warning. Next thing you know the sensei bends over to pick his towel or water up off the floor. Seymour does the rawest nastiest sounding imitation of someone letting one rip. Everyone starts laughing so hard years form.  He's immediately thrown out and now they all are laughing under their breath. Down a couple blocks Randi finds a giant superstore lit up with lights and all. She wanders over to the snack aisle and gets lost in all the possibilities. Her theory is it's gotta be something that can be served hot cold and warm or cool. Now that the sparring one segment is over everyone take a five minute break to recollect. They all get together knowing Seymour was outside still making jokes by the door. They go to ask Randi her opinion on something from the sequence. Then they all realize "OH GOD!". Otto starts to get worked up "Not again Randi we talked about this man". Levi pats Otto on the shoulder "Yeah I know but we still gotta find her."
Everyone in the crew all put their hands on the face. Luckily the next segment was starting so they could transition out smoothly. They all hurry towards the door and grab their respective jackets. Otto swinging the door open with fury, the door slams into Seymour's arm.
He cries out " you kelp shake gargling idiot!" Levi and Omaha Run Out behind him yelling "Oh snap!". Now Everyone's either worried, pissed or in pain it's all over everyone's faces.
They're running down streets and turning corners panting out of breathe. Seymour wincing in pain holding his arm falling behind everyone. He stops for a second and he looks up and everyone's gone. So he reaches in his back pocket for an emergency tree and lights it up it was Christmas in July. He proceeds to walk at an extremely slow pace meanwhile literally a couple seconds ago. They look down this alley way and see a lady playing tug of war with her purse. So they all cut in the alley way and help the lady with her purse. At first they were pulling with the lady. Then Otto let's go and starts wailing on the guy in the ski mask. Now Levi and Omaha are pouncing on the poor guy too. Pretty much jumping the robber with the moves they half way learned in class mixed with animal instincts. They all celebrate on a successful mission giving high fives they see Seymour very much in the Christmas spirit sitting on the steps before the alley way. Otto pats Seymour in the sore shoulder and said "cmon buddy let's go home. No worries pal you only missed the fight of your life!". For once Seymour had no come backs or witty rebuttals.
Everyone snapped around to look at Seymour they look back in disbelief. Right before getting back in the truck Levi realized they still never found Randi. Now they're driving around the neighborhood calling her, checking her socials for any clues. Nothing nobody even outside at the time. Back to Randi she's solved her own equation. The answer was pie all along. So she goes to pay for her pie and ice cream and she leaves the store and turns right and starts heading to the bus stop. This was moments before the crew pulled into the parking lot of the store from the opposite side. As They go in to get something for Omaha's mom before they head home, at the same time Randi got on the bus that drops her off on her block. Just by chance Levi decides he'll ask one more person if they've seen his friend. He goes to show the shop owner the pictures and he starts freaking out. "Wait sir calm down we're just looking for our friend she gets distracted easily" Omaha interjects. He seems to be calming down responding with "She just left she was here for a while just standing looking at snacks for an hour. Taking some to the freezer and others to the rotisserie heater then yelled eureka grabbed an apple pie and some ice cream came and paid for it and left. Actually right before you folks came in." They all rush outside to see a bus all the way down the street. They all sigh hoping she's on the bus but this is pretty normal for them. They usually find her on the way home or just miss her altogether. They Get back in the car and while the car is warming up Levi and Omaha decorate their own tree. Seymour with a wanting face asks "uhhh can I at least light the star for you guys? hehe". They cut their eyes at him and he puts his head down knowing he was wrong to celebrate without them "okay". Omaha responds "I told you I wouldn't forget".
