It was five a.m. when Tobio's eyes had opened. He listened to the beeping that had erupted from his alarm clock beside his bed. After a few minutes of laying there and listening to the alarm, he rolled onto his side and pressed the off  button. He then rolled onto his back again, staring up at the ceiling of his bedroom. Maybe it was another five, ten minutes? Before he had decided it was time to get up.

For the past few weeks now, the teen had been feeling something about a certain male. He couldn't say he knew what it was however, because he was normally kept to himself. Emotions made him feel awkward, odd. Like he wasn't himself. Being drawn more to volleyball, the new liking he had gained for this guy...

     It was different. Too different.

The guy went around his room, gathering everything he needed before grabbing his uniform for school. He made his way into the bathroom, running a hot shower for himself. And with that, the boy's day started. He went on with it, drying off after he was done, brushing his teeth and then he was setting off for school. On the path to the school as normal, he had met with Shouyo on the way, the ginger sparking up a race.

And Tobio wasn't up for it. Not that morning... He felt off more than ever the closer and closer he got to the school, his chest getting a bit tighter and tighter with each step as the building came into view. He frowned a bit at this, just stepping past Shouyo and heading straight around a corner to the vending machines. With that, he heard his nickname and a cackle to follow behind the remark. He turned his head and his eyes locked onto him. He just stared, only to turn and walk off.

Everything was off. Even he noticed. The guy who didn't care whether Tobio had made it to school or not that day, the guy who seemed to know how to run the entire world. The King's head peasant. His maid. Yet, somehow, he had finally began to get a bit more attentive to the King. He knew something was off, yet he didn't know if there was room to point it out yet or not.

Tobio got his milk box like normal, signalling the start of his school day. The teen made his way to the lockers and put his things away like normal. He dropped off his gym bag in the lockerroom for after classes and he set off. With the new quest digging at the back of his mind though, he didn't know how much he could focus that day...

Hopefully it wasn't all on him...

[a little shorter than hoped, but hopefully this will pick up!! sorry for the few day wait! - CeCe]
