(A/N: Would you look at that title! This is my first time doing this sort of scenario so please bare with me. This title was inspired by this comedy manga series called The Way of The House Husband. I haven't read it but I am waiting for the live-action series for it this coming October, hehe. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this and happy reading! :D)

Morning

"Mmm..."

Morning was able to rise on its peak and like always, the ray of sunlight entered our windows just so they could say hello to our sleeping forms.

I yawned softly and tried to move around but to no avail, I can't seem to move too much.

I opened my eyes in a tired state and turned to my right to see my dual-haired husband, hugging me close a bit too tight like he didn't want to let me go.

I smiled just seeing his sleeping form but slowly, I can see him waking up too but his arms still remained around my body.

"Good morning~", I greeted my husband softly and kissed the top of his nose.

"Good morning to you too, honey", Todoroki greeted back with a nickname he haven't called me yet and gently kissed my lips.

I blushed just hearing how husky his voice is from the way he called me "honey" and it made my heart really soft.

"What time is it?", I said and yawned before I rubbed my eyes.

He slowly got up from our shared bed and looked at the wall clock.

"6:00 AM", Todoroki said and looked back at me, "Is it your hero duty today?".

I nodded before I slowly sat up from my bed as well so I can stretch my arms out and check the contents from my phone.

"Yep, I have to patrol the streets again and later in the afternoon, I have a small mission to accomplish", I said and scrolled through my schedule with a sigh, "Oh man, that means I won't have enough time to the do the pile of laundry when I get back".

"Oh, now that you mentioned it. We've been so busy for the past week that our laundry basket is almost full", Todoroki said and soothed my back, "Don't worry...".

He brushed my hair and hugged me close before kissing the top of my head.

"Leave everything to me"

"E-Eh? You?"

He nodded with a soft smile on his face before he replied, "I have an additional day off today, remember? I can use that so I can look after the house while you're away and...also to take care of you, my love".

He gently kissed my lips again and added, "I just...don't want you to feel too tired. You mostly get the chores done here almost everyday anyway and you definitely deserve a break or two, okay?".

I smiled just hearing those kind words that I kissed him back.

"Thank you, Shoto. I really appreciate the kind gesture, really, hehe", I said and cupped his face, "I'll make it up to you then...umm...tomorrow! Yeah, sounds fair, right?".
