Chapter 9: Something to fix on

He did not went to his office, he went to  Manila Polo Club to watch a Polo game match.

"Hello Irene, Pwede mo ba aking samahan dito, manonood lang tayo ng polo match then after we will move for a lunch"

"Kakagising ko lang eh, nandyan kana ba?" She get up and opens her closet to choose a dress to wear.

"Yes darling, nandito nako sa field mga 8 am pa naman daw yung game so maghihintay lang ako dito see you right here at the polo club!" He ended up the call so that she can't make any excuses.

She went off to the field alone as she sees him sitting at the first row of the bench.
"How are you?" She kissed him at the cheek and sits on his side.

He hold her waist to make her more closer.

"You want some drinks?" He asked.

"No thanks, I'm ok!"

As they finished watching the game they moved into the restaurant nearest to take a lunch.

She seems uncomfortable especially that it was a month of september remembering the martial law and everyone knew her family hated by that history that stamped into the mind of people, her appearance to the crowd make her more uncomfortable that attacks her with anxiety.

"By the way Greggy, I want to go home now!" Her eyes became teary.

"Are you okay? Kakapasok palang natin sa restaurant." He kissed her forehead.

"I want to go home now Greggy, Ok lang ako!" She slighty smiles to hide her emotions from him.

And it happens that she doesn't want to witness, The rally.

The students of the university held their rally into the street to let their voices out, she heard a lot of hurtful words her family was abhorred, she felt like a misfit in every places.

"Ok darling lets get out of here!"
They escorted by their bodyguards into the car, he wrapped her with his arm and cover her ears with his palm to protect her against the rallyist.

They arrived at the apartment and he loaded her with a lot of securities around for her safety.

"Greggy pwede kanang umuwi, ayokong madamay ka dito!" She slightly bows her head.

"I am already a part of you so I'll stay here!" He holds her hand tight.

"Please Greggy just leave me here, dun ka nalang muna sa office mo baka may gagawin kapa. Greggy please!" She insisted.

"Ok I'll go!" He wrapped her with his arms and kissed her.

Before she leaves her, he secured the place.

Her friends visit her in the apartment since she just spent her time from watching documentaries and reading magazines.

"My goodness Irene, ano nanaman eto?" Korina having a beso-beso with her.

"Oh here we go, kulong nanaman tayo sa lungga!" Bea said.

"Oo nga eh! Every year of september is a struggle" She smiles.

They seated into the couch and watch the documentaries.

"Diyan na muna kayo, Korina and Bea I will just prepare a food" She went into the kitchen to cooka pasta and serve a drinks.

"So ano balak nyo ni Greggy?" Korina asked.

"Wala naman!"

"Wala ba kayong balak magpakasal na?" Bea asked.

"Oh my gosh Bea, ano kaba! Walang kasiguraduhan yan." She laughed.

"Sus! Pinakilala kana sa pamilya at panigurado yan." Korina said.
