"Hey guys this is Sarah." Jess says while walking up with Sherri and some girl.

Everyone greets her. "So you new here." Scott says.

She nods. "Yea my mom is gonna be the new guidance counsellor." She says smiling.

"About time they got rid of porter." Zach mumbles.

"Cheers to that." I say.

"Did he actually do anything to help though." Justin says.

"Nope just tried to get me in my feelings..and you guys know what happens after." I say.

Everyone chuckles except for Sarah she just stands there confused. "He doesn't deal well with 'emotions." Jess says laughing.

"Oh right." She says.

"Can I sit here?" Sarah asks while pointing to the seat across from me. Everyone nods.she smiles at me but I just look down. I wasn't in any mood. After the other night I told myself to do what lydia wanted and I did...but it hurt. In English we were doing some stupid projects and bryce and Lydia got put together. I wanted to kill him. I hate that he has to be with her I just wasn't to he there to protect her but u know she won't let me.

"Mon?" Zach says shaking my shoulder.

"Mm."

"You ok your..well you trying to break you fork?" He says.

"I'm fine." I growl.

"Omg monty what is it." Jess says glaring at me.

"Nothing i swear."

"I will slap you if you don't tell us." She carries on.

"Just bryce." I mumble

"What's he done." Scott says. Sarah watches us in confusion.

"He has to do a project with lydia."

"Mon he won't do anything after hannah..hopefully..plus he knows how angry you'll get." Sherri says.

I shake my head. "I hate him."

"I know we all do." Jess says.

"Are you guys talking about bryce walker?  He seems really nice to me he invited me to a party." Sarah says.

"Don't go near him he's a dickand dangerous." Jess says sternly.

"Why is he dangerous?"

"He just is." I say.

She nods her head. I turn round to see bryce sat with lydia. Lydia was tensed up and that just made me angrier. Zach caught on and grabbed onto me. "Don't do what your thinking." He says.

"But-"

"Don't." He says.

I sigh and nod my head.

Me, Zach and jess had grown a lot more closer since Lydia left us. And I really trusted them. Those two and Lydia were the only ones who had seen me cry. "Hon she's really strong she can protect herself." Jess says giving me a smile.

I look down. "Not as strong as bryce." I mutter.

"I'll tell you what I have maths with both if them next I'll sit next to her and keep an eye on her " jess says.

I nod my head. "Thanks jess."

"Hey..turns out I have french with you." Sarah says while sitting down.

"Great." I mutter.

"So was lydia your girlfriend?" She asks.

"Why do you need to know?"
