So this story starts with the fact that we do give law enforcement discounts. I think its like 50 percent IF they ask. If not I don't really mess with it. So this lady I have had many many problems with her rudeness. She was nutty as fuck.
She came in and ordered 8 pepperoni and wanted a law enforcement discount. She didn't have a badge and she was an older lady. So I told her that was soley meant for police officers. She got extremely upset and started going off about how "IM JUST TRYING TO SURPRISE THEM WITH PIZZA"
I was a shift lead so my say could have been final but for good measure I grabbed my other manager who was higher up than me. He told her the same thing and She went off again. She stated "YOU WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE A DYING PERSON A DISCOUNT WOULD YOU??"
Sorry karen not even then.
That was said after the fact. But she started ranting and raving. We kept going back and forth for like 10 minutes until she Screeched "OKAY FINE I'LL JUST PAY FULL PRICE"
So my manager took her order. I loudly stated I couldn't handle this and walked to the side and sat down until i saw another customer.
The kicker is that she was literally LAYING on the counter and blocking ou ther customers WHILE COVID IS GOING ON. She wouldn't move. I asked her as politely as I could if she would go wait at the tables. She ignored me and blocked others from ordering. Thankfully only a few ordered until all 8 of her pizzas came out. I walked them up there and she carried all 8 out by herself.
