Clarissa
"Alohomora", a harsh voice whispered from outside my dorm. The door clicked and swung open, revealing exactly who I expected. Malfoy. The past few weeks were a whirlwind of emotions, thanks to him. I just wanted to know what we were, enemies, or friends? Everyday was different, one day he would help pick my books up if I dropped them, and the next he would make hurtful remarks with his friends. I just wanted to clear things up with him, without causing anymore trouble. However, I'm not sure that was possible.
He stood, prominently, in the doorway, smirking at me. "Well, well, Cardaillet, think you can get away without me?"
"You'll pay for this, Malfoy."
"Mhm. Try me."
"Stupefy!" I whisper-yelled, aiming my wand at him, only for him to ricochet it right back at me. It hit me with a pang, leaving me stunned and falling to the floor. Grinning, he walked towards me.
"Just you wait 'til my father hears about this." He sneered. I felt my face burn up as he looked down at me. He pressed his hand on my shoulder and whispered into my ear, "Do me a favor, and stay away from McLaggen. Or else." He didn't scare me in the slightest, but I had a feeling he wasn't joking. He stroked his wand against my cheek, my eyes wide open, staring at him out of shock. He calmly stood up and walked out, leaving me frozen on the cold floor of my dorm. The adrenaline in my body rushed, my fight-or-flight senses confused. The rest of the girls in my dorm still lay fast asleep, to my surprise, and also my relief.

DracoToday was the day of our practice O.W.L. tests, so the Professors could see what we needed to work on. They set up the Great Hall as if it were the actual testing day. The only difference is that we were allowed our normal pens, rather than the enchanted ones that prohibited cheating. Being the Prefect I am, I wanted to get the best marks to impress my peers, and also my father. However, the issue was that I hadn't properly studied. Amateur mistake.
As if it were a miracle, I was placed adjacent to Clarissa, and despite the fact that she wasn't a prefect, she was still really intelligent. She twirled her hair with her finger, biting her lip as she tried to focus. She looked so hot sitting there. Wait a damn minute. No. I can't be thinking like that. We're enemies, right? Then again, she said I was the hottest guy in the school, so it's equal. To keep my Prefect reputation, I needed to copy her work. I looked out of the corner of my eye, and saw her writing her answers down with the same boring quill we were all given. I copied everything I needed, and just like that the assessment was over.
I was the last to leave the Great Hall, as I took a few extra minutes to review my work. As I walked down the halls to go back to my dorm, everyone out of sight, I felt a small tap on my shoulder. I knew exactly who it was, so I ignored it and kept on walking. She cleared her throat, and snapped, "Malfoy. Don't think I don't know what you did." I turned my head, to reveal Clarissa, looking up at me, furious.
"Oh please."
She stepped towards me, slamming me against the wall, and drew her wand to my throat. Muttering under her breath, she whispered, "Watch your back. Blackmail is looking pretty good right now."
"Please, Clarissa, don't, I need to keep my grades up." I pleaded, not wanting to get exposed. I needed to stay top of our year, so I didn't become a disappointment to my father.
"Oh yeah, and why's that, Malfoy?" She sneered.
"Why does it matter to you?" I glared.
"Hm, well, here's the thing. You've caused me enough trouble this goddamn year, something like that might put you in your place."
