Maika sat on the chair with a blank expression on her face. She was in unbelievable amounts of pain, but she never screamed once or let a single tear run down her face. She couldn't scream, they had injected something in her to keep her quiet. She couldn't quite cry either, the pain was just too much to bear. "Leader, we should really let her rest, she's had enough for one day." Clan Leader Owazaka sighed and rubbed his temples. "If we let her rest, she might get ideas about escaping and tell the other villages about our secrets, we cant have that Iwaotae, she knows about what you did to your wife, every one thinks she dissapeared, but we and she both know that's not what happened." Iwaotae sighed and turned away from the torture and mumbled, "Continue and make sure she doesn't escape or tell anyone anything." Owazaka smiled wickedly and went into the room where Maika was in and slapped her. The slap sent Maika spasming, since she was in pain and drugged. "Wake up little wench, its time for you to eat." She didn't respond, seeing that drool was making its way down the sides of her mouth. "Eh, take her to the slave pens, make sure you tie her up properly."
3 months earlierMaika smiled as she helped her mom hang up clothes. Her mom was humming with excitement, her daughter, would be properly initiated into the village counsel. Maika just barely made the qualifications to be on the counsel.
-Time skip-
Maika stood in a beautiful kimono as the temporary crown adorned with little red rubies was placed upon her head. Clan Leader Owazaka smiled and presented Maika, one of the village's many counsel. She went to hug her mom and Owazaka put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it tight. "We cant have you looking too soft in front of the village can we?" Maika shook her head no and just waved at her mom instead. Her mom smiled and waved back, suddenly she was taken away by a pair of gaurds to be seated in a chair. Maika watched on as one of the guards pulled out a sword and raised it up to the air before stabbing Maika's mom in the stomach and grinning wickedly. Maika tried to scream but suddenly she felt dizzy and collapsed with Owazaka catching her in his arms. "The plan worked, get her to the room and prepare the torture methods, make sure she doesn't escape." One of the guards nods and carries Maika inside of a house. "I'll need more people in on this, but who....the counsel, that's it." Owazaka smiled and walked inside, looking at the passed out Maika. "This plan needs to move forward, we are wasting precious time until the moon blood ceremony." Iwaotae ran up behind Owazaka and earned a will placed flick on his forehead as Owazaka yelled at him. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, YOU WERE LATE FOR THE CROWNING." Iwaotae cursed silently and replied, "I was making sure everything was in place and i had to keep her mother quiet by making her drink a herb that would make her pass out and the pain less worse, but she was a fighter, so i slit her throat." Owazaka paced around angrily and punched Iwoatae straight across the jaw, making him crumple to the floor. "YOU IDIOT, WE WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO KILL HER, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE WE KILLED HER, SHE WAS PART OF THE PLAN, WITHOUT HER PURE BLOOD, HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE THE PLAN." Iwoatae rubbed his jaw and raised his hands to block another punch. "Relax, i was joking, shes actually right behind me, sleeping."
