the ride to the beach was intense. i had a feeling that she would be there. i could not help but think about that other girl tzuyu was with.

what is their relationship? are they dating? i need to win tzuyu over in some way. i know that all the things i have done affected tzuyu.

i could not see that she loved me and instead, i dated dahyun. i blame myself for her running away. if only i could see her as more than a friend.

"sana? sana..." natsuri called. i looked at her. "you're spacing out again. thinking about tzuyu huh? don't worry. i know that we will find her eventually." she assured.

"what if we do?"

"what am i even going to say? 'hi tzuyu it's sana, the girl who broke your heart can you please come back to jype now?' i don't know what to do!" i whined.

"you're overthinking everything." she replied. i shot at her one of those 'are you crazy this is totally serious' faces.

"okay you're right this is serious."

"i'll come with you. will that make things a little better?" she asked. i nodded. "yes it will. thanks natsuri." i said. she nods.

"don't worry about it."

~tzuyu~

"tzuyu come in the water already!" mei screamed at me. "i don't know how to swim mei." i replied with a slight laugh.

"come! i'll teach you." she giggles and takes my hand. she dragged me to the water and pushed me inside the waves. 

we laughed as we splashed each other with water. then, i stop laughing. mei looks at me with a concerned look. 

"tzuyu?"

no... this can't be. i know this feeling. i turned around and i was right. there she was, walking across the beach, settling herself into the sand.

mei looked in the direction i was staring at and she started fuming. "oh she's here?! isn't that the girl who broke your heart?" mei asked in disbelief.

she started marching towards sana, i could see the anger she was feeling. "mei wait!" i called out. i started running to her.

sana turned around and we made eye contact. my heart started to beat rapidly. sana looked at me with worry and longing.

"you bitch!" mei shouted and slapped sana. i held mei back. "stop! wait. let me talk to her." i said. mei looked at me, scoffed and stepped away from sana.

another girl joined us. "sana what's taking you so long- oh." she said. "who are you?" i asked. "oh! i'm natsuri, sana's cousin."

as soon as i heard that, i could feel relief rushing through my body. life was going so well. i had the perfect girlfriend and now sana showed up.

the worst part about it all is that i have to admit that i still like her. i had to fight off these emotions and my tears.

one part of me wanted to run and hug sana and the other wanted to turn away and forget her forever. 

"i know this visit was unexpected but i really need to talk to you." sana started. "i'm so sorry tzuyu. for everything."

"i'm sorry for not loving you. i'm sorry for hurting you. i'm sorry for abandoning you." she kept apologizing for all of these things.

i felt my heart melt.

i felt mei cling onto my arm. sana looked at us and i could tell that she was jealous. her eyes were looking at mei and i.

her face was scrunched up and stiff. she sighed and looked at our arms that were interlocked with each other's.

"i've heard a lot about you sana. i'm mei. tzuyu's girlfriend to be exact." mei said with a smug look on her face.

sana scoffed. she was about to say something but natsuri covered her mouth. "listen. sana here has been thinking so much about you."

"i can tell that she has feelings for you. why don't you give her a second chance?" natsuri suggested. mei rolled her eyes.

"excuse me but tzuyu is already mine! and even if she had to pick between the two of us she would pick me! right tzuyu?" 

i hesitated and everyone was looking at me. "o-of course babe." i said with a smile. sana looked at me. i knew that face.

she could tell that i was lying.

and i hate to admit it but i was. i'm currently questioning mei and i's relationship. ever since sana just appeared my heart called out to her.

"well you know what?! we'll have a competition. both of us will take tzuyu out on dates and places for a month and at the end of the month, she'll choose who she wants to be with!" sana blurted out in rage.

"wait i don't want any competitions-"

"deal! but i'm going to win." mei said confidently, interrupting me. "i'm picking you up tomorrow tzuyu-ah. be ready." sana said.

"wait what-"

honestly, what has this turned into? everything is getting so crazy. first sana appears and now mei and her are competing for me?

i'm not sure how this will go and i'm scared to find out.
