"Hey Harry, can you pass the syrup please?"

The day after Harry's birthday wasn't anything special but it still felt nice. Each family member were seated and had a some pancakes in front of them. Harry took the brown bottle next to him and passed it to the boy across from him.

The green-eyed boy's thoughts were full of joy and peace. He was thankful for all the Dursley's has done for him. Even though they weren't wizards themselves they still tried to help Harry grow on the magical part of himself, letting him practice as long as they supervised him.

Harry's thoughts drifted to his biological parents. Would life have been better if he wasn't given up? Perhaps not, Harry didn't want parents that were willing to give their own child away for the benefit of the other. Harry was sure that the Dursley's wouldn't do something so despicable but sometimes the possibility still lingered at the back of his mind.

All the Dursley's finished their plate of pancakes so Harry went to the kitchen, taking the plates with him. Harry washed the dishes while Dudley cleaned up the table. Just as the two boys finished the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" Dudley rushed to the door, opening it to reveal three figures.

The jet-blacked haired boy checked to see who it was as he was suspicious from the lack of speech. As soon as he saw who it was his eyes widened.

There at the door, was a man who looked like an older Harry but his emerald green eyes were replaced with caramel brown ones. The woman next to him had thick hair as red as fire but her eyes were almost identical to Harry's. The cherry on top was the boy behind them, Harry couldn't see him well but he was obviously the two adults' child. That must've meant-

 He was Harry's twin.

Harry dropped the plate he had just washed. The pieces shattered and scattered across the floor, but at this point no one cared. The boy's mind ran at speeds faster than light, trying to think of how to act, what to see and what to think. Despite all the thoughts coming at him the boy had no idea what to do.

"W-wh-y?" was the only word that came out of Harry's mouth. His attempt to keep his voice firm was futile and his entire through throbbed every time he tried to say more.

By this moment Petunia and Vernon had already rushed out to check on Harry after hearing the plate shatter. They immediately stopped when they saw the Potter family.

Vernon's face had a look of utter disgust on while Petunia's displayed nothing but rage.

Vernon was the first to recover from the shock, "Get out."

"We are just here to see Harry. Surely we can visit our son?" spat the father.

"James- No fighting. But he's right, may we talk to Harry for a bit?" the woman glared daggers at the father.

Petunia stared at the woman before her, "You gave him up a long time ago and now you expect to be able to just come into his life again after not even sending him letters? Don't try pulling the biological parents trick on me Lily, you don't deserve that title."

Harry realised that perhaps he should do something. The two couples are were arguing over him after all.

"'Tunia it's fine, I only want to talk to my twin. My parents-" he spat the word with anger, "I don't care, you decided it was perfectly fine to abandon a child, I've decided it's perfectly fine to not care about you then."

Lily and James were clearly taken back, this was not the reaction they had hoped for. They were expecting him to be angry, yes, but they didn't think he would just straight up not care for them anymore. It seemed that they didn't realise years of separation meant they didn't know anything about their son, if you could call him that.

Then Jacob pushed in between them hearing himself being mentioned. Neither tried to stop him as he had a right to know the boy that was his brother.

Jacob offered his hand to Harry, "Hi Harry, I'm Jacob."

Harry looked hesitant for a moment but quickly took it, "Hi."

The awkwardness in the air was suffocating as the Dursley's didn't want the Potter's while the Potter's wanted Harry.

Harry attempted to clear the air, "Uh, can we sit down and talk for a bit, I just need to clean the plate up first."

Lily nodded and politely walked into the Dursley's living room, James following behind her. The Dursley's joined the two while glaring daggers into their back. Jacob stayed behind wondering if he should help Harry clean it up when Harry took a broom and swept the pieces altogether. He then bent down on one knee and touched the shards. The plate came back as if it had never been broken. Harry picked it up and put it on the kitchen counter, leaving it so he could come and clean it later.

Harry eyed Jacob curiously, wondering why he was still there but said nothing of the matter.

Harry and Jacob entered the room at the same time, being the last two to enter. The two Potter's sat opposite the Dursley's and Harry contemplated on where to sit. He sat beside Dudley as he didn't quite feel safe with the Potter's yet. Jacob 's face flashed a look of sadness for a moment but quickly reverted to it's original state.

Harry noticed how Dudley was nervous from the slight shake in his left hand, a habit he had developed when he started to panic.

"So-" Harry gulped, "Can you start from the beginning? With why you even contemplated abandoning me in the first place?"

The tensions were high but no one was sure if they would last for how long this talk would be.

A/N: I tried to work faster now that I'm finishing other school work faster and I've adjusted to it. Please take this chapter as an apology for how long it took to get out the last chapter even though I had so long to do it.
