There lived 5 royals, 1 king, 1 queen, 2 princesses and 1 prince they had a happy family until the queen died on April 4, x444 and ever since the queen's death the king was cruel to everyone and no one knew why, they thought it was because of the queens' death and it was, but the cruelty never stopped not even as years passed. Hi, my name is Leona Fox, I have bright blonde hair with permanent purple highlights and blue eyes, you're probably asking how I know this, and the reason is this is my family's tale though it has way more to it shall we begin. It all started the day my mom, Queen Niana Fox of Velmont died on April 4, x444 when I was 6 and my siblings were 5 and since that day my dad, King Paydon Fox of Velmont was very cruel, he even hit me and my little siblings Luke Fox and Grace Fox who are twins, Luke has bright blonde hair with permanent blue highlights, he has blue eyes too and Grace has bright blonde hair with permanent red highlights and of course blue eyes. Through the years, I took all the punishment for them because I didn't want them to be hurt even though they didn't want me to I still did. Now, I am 17 years old and the twins are 16, we learned a couple of years ago that dad wasn't going to go back to normal soon, we just pray that he changes back to the dad we knew as kids.
This is where our adventure really starts, that night we ran away from this excuse of a home and ventured of into the dangers off the world. It all started July 7, x455, today we finally had enough of dad hurting us, so we decided to run away and to never come back. We began packing and so we were done so we started to come up with a plan, good thing I have secret exits all over the castle and kingdom. Later that night, we ran as fast as we could, and we never looked back to our old home, we were only looking toward our new adventure. We ended up in a normal village with people all around and about and we had come here in the middle of the night, so we slept at an inn close to the outskirts of the village.
"Hey Le, where are we?" asked Grace.
"I don't know maybe we should ask around?" I answered her.
"I don't think that's a good idea guys." stated Luke.
"Why not Luke it could help us find out where we are?" Grace asked being the curious person she.
"I don't know. I just feel like we shouldn't trust them." Luke answered.
"I kind of agree with Luke, I just have this feeling we should just go to that forest." I announced pointing to a very evil looking forest.
"Ok we head for the forest and on the way, there do not talk to anyone, but each other because your gut feelings are never wrong." Grace Proclaimed and we did just that and soon we were at the evil looking forest. We then went into the forest and walked around for a while and soon stopped for a break. A little after we stopped, I heard a noise from a bush, so I checked it out and it was a purple cat.
"Hey there little kitty are you lost? Well so are me and my siblings, do you know the way around here if you do could you help us find our way?" I asked the purple cat which caught my siblings' attention and they came up to us and looked at the purple cat. When the cat saw them, it got scared and jumped up on me to my chest where it sat scared.
"It's ok little kitty they are my siblings they won't hurt you they are nice people." I said to the purple cat and that calmed him down, but he still refused to get off me, so I let him lay on me.
"Timmy, TIMMY where are you Timmy?" A very muscular voice called, and the cats ears pointed up, so I am guessing that's his owner. So, I walked to the muscular voice and took the cat off my chest and put him on the ground and he followed me to what I supposed was his owner.
"Um excuse me, but is this your cat by chance?" I asked the..............Scarlet Red Dragon. Even though he was a dragon I wasn't scared of him even though in our kingdom dragons are supposable by legend viscous wild beasts, but he is not like that he is different than those tales in our kingdom. He is caring, kind, good hearted and most of all optimistic he maybe a dragon, but he is a man on the inside.
"Timmy thank goodness you are ok I thought I lost you. Thank you for bringing him back miss......" He said with a happy tone.
"Leona, but people call me Le for short." I answered his indirect question.
"Thank you, Lena, for bringing Timmy back it seems that he likes you a lot which is a surprise to me, he usually doesn't like people at all. Oh, and my name is Rayden Adams and that cat is Timmy my best friend and only friend." Rayden who I am going to call Ray said happily than got sadder at the end.
"W-what's w-with t-the n-nickname R-ray?" I asked while stuttering.
"Oh, that's my nickname for you it's the first and last two letters of your name. Oh, and by the way I like your nickname for me." Ray said to me. Then we started to talk to each other, and we told each other the story of our lives up to this point and we hit it off right of the bat, but I knew I had to go.
"Well I better get going then I don't want to keep my siblings waiting or they will freak out. Bye see you around Ray." I called to him.
"Oh, why don't I just fly you to them it's the least I can do for you." Ray called back to me in which I nodded to him to show that I was ok with it which he seemed to get so I walked to him. He bent down and put out his wing so I could climb onto his neck with Timmy and so I did as he suggested actionably. He soon got up and started to fly it felt so amazing that I closed my eyes, spread my arms out wide and started laughing. We soon reached my siblings and I got off Ray, so I could introduce him to my siblings. We walked to my siblings who tried to pull me away from Ray, so I clinged on to Ray to stay by him.
"Le, what are you doing get away from that beast!" Luke declared. Which neither me nor Ray liked and soon Ray was in a protective stance with me underneath him for protection while growling at Luke and Grace.
"Stop it all of you. There's no need to fight each other at all." I shouted at them. Automatically when I said that Ray went behind me with a pouting expression and Luke hid behind Grace who was just reading a book she brought from the castle library.
"I just wanted to protect you Lena." Ray said while pouting.
"Thank you for your help, but they won't hurt me. They are my little siblings." I replied while rubbing his snout and having a small smile. Meanwhile Luke and Grace were staring at us while watching Ray very closely most likely to make sure Ray doesn't hurt me, but like that will ever happen. Then Timmy came to us and rubbed his head on my leg, so I picked him up.
"What are you doing with a dragon Le?" Grace asked me curiously.
"He has a name you know." I told them "and it's Rayden Adams." As I said that Ray nuzzled my body and in turn, I started to pet him which caused him to start purring showing he was loving the affection.
"But he's a DRAGON Lu?" Luke exclaimed.
"That doesn't matter he's a living creature, just because he's a dragon doesn't mean that he is like we were told." I exclaim furiously "Come on Ray if they can't except you for who you are then I'm not staying with them." And with that me, Ray, and Timmy started walking to Ray's cave. After a while, ray stopped in front of a big cave that shimmered.
"Wow this is so beautiful. How did you make this Ray?" I asked in awe.
"Um well, it's simple you just heat rock in the water and leave it for a long time to form a crystal," Ray explained.
