As Clarke followed lexa into the tower, she noticed that the corridors were being lit up by candles. Clarke supressed a chuckle as she realised they were in a giant candle filled with tiny candles.

As they were walking down a corridor Clarke realised that strange older bald man had left them alone, probably on lexa's command and out of fear of that death stare she had given him earlier. Clarke would have done the same.

They arrived at two large doors with stationed guards outside and as lexa tilted her head up they then opened the door to a large room with a bed with comfortable looking furs, she could just imagine herself sinking into them and closing her eyes, never wanting to wake up.

In the corner of the room she also noticed a canvas with multiple pages of paper and some paint next to it, she also noticed some sketchbooks and pencils next to them. She looked up at lexa, confused. She could see her confused face and responded "I noticed you like drawing." Clarke nodded in appreciation and thanked her, she couldn't wait to start drawing again, she hadn't been able to do much since the mountain.

Lexa then left Clarke in her room as it was pretty late since they had taken a while getting back to the capital. As Clarke examined her wardrobe she noticed how there were some clothes already in there, including pajamas. Before changing into them, she decided to hav a nice bath, not being able to have one for months.

As she changed out of her dirty clothes, she sunk into the relaxing water and let out a sigh. She had needed one of these for ages. As she was rubbing the dirt off her face, she remembered the ark and wondered how things were going there and if they were okay. Of course they were, lexa would have told her otherwise. Wouldn't she?

As she finished up, she got out and dried herself off and got changed into the comfy clothes that lexa picked out.

She then jumped into her nice, fresh bed. It was nice, different from the cold hard floor in which she had been sleeping on for months and was also a change from the metal, hard beds back at the ark.

She immediately sunk into it, relishing every moment she spent before she finally gave up the fight with reality and sunk into a deep sleep, hoping to stay like that forever.

But like Clarke had learnt, you don't get everything you want in life, she eventually woke up to a pile of water surrounding her. Sweat. She had yet another nightmare. Its like they would never stop. She looked up and there were guards surrounding her. Worried since they had heard her screams and decided to see if she was okay. One of them were already running to find heda.

As lexa came walking in at a quicker pace than usual, she was in the middle of her sentence about how this better be worth it as she was in the middle of a meeting with the other leaders, she stopped as she saw Clarke panting on the bed surrounded by her own sweat, guessing she had yet another nightmare. She lifted her hand up for the guards to leave and they did so.

Once they had left, lexa's face became less like the commanders and more like her own. She sat down on the bed with a worried expression in her forest green eyes. As much as she tried to hide her concern, Clarke could always read her.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked already knowing the answer

Clarke just shook her head and hoped lexa would understand. Of course she would, she had gone through the same thing after every battle. She understood how clarke was feeling.

"I get how you're feeling, this happens to me every time after battle, they never go away." Lexa looked down at the floor at this, feeling vulnerable. "But they will get better overtime."

And on that note, lexa built her stoic face back and turned around and left, presumably going back to her meeting. Clarke felt the warmth of the room disapear as lexa took it away with her.

She sighed as she got up from her bed and walked back over to her wardrobe and found her clothes from yesterday all cleaned and smelling fresh in there, she quickly dressed herself and began to find herself walking over to the canvas and beginning to paint the market down below, which she could see from her balcony. Suddenly she saw a body landing on the ground. Ouch.

She then decided to go and see the market for herself. As she opened her door, she headed to the elevator and headed to the ground. She then found herself in the middle of the market in awe of all she could see. Luckily the body had been cleared, but she noticed people avoiding that space. It must happen often. She thought to herself.

In the corner of her eye, she spotted the commander training. She felt her feet travel over there to watch her.
