"Why the hell is Y/N not picking up?" Hongjoong growls, fear filling his mind.

"Hongjoong, please call down babe," Yeosang softly mumbles, placing his hand on Hongjoong's shoulder.

"Maybe Y/N's phone is just out of range," Yunho offers, although they all know he doesn't believe it.

"Look let's just calm down a bit," Seonghwa announces.

"How can we calm down Hwa?!" San exclaims.

"San," Yeosang mutters sternly, San quietly apologizing to Seonghwa. "Guys can we just take some deep breaths and think for a moment. There is a reason he/she/they are not home yet."

"Do you think it has something to do with his/her/their parents?" Wooyoung wonders from behind Mingi.

"That could be possible," Mingi hums, wrapping his arm around Wooyoung's shoulders.

"Wait he/she/they said that Y/N's parents wanted him/her/them to come home," Jongho remembers. "Maybe he/she/they left."

Yeosang shakes his head. "No way. He/she/They are terrified of the parents."

"That's true," San mumbles. "But where else could Y/N be?"

"And now," his/her/their mom smirks, devilishly. "Let's get started."

"What did you guys want from me again?" Y/N questions anxiously.

"Well just a little bit of money," the dad drawls out. "And some house keeping help. You'd only be here for a day or so, depends on how fast you go."

"How fast I go?"

"Well you'd be doing the house work on your own," y/n's mother hums, like it was an obvious thing to know. "We simply don't have time to help at all."

"And I have all the time in the world?" Y/N questions sarcastically. "Mother I have a job!"

"Well then call off for a day," the dad states, smartly.

"I need to make money," Y/N points out. "And if I end up giving you money, which I probably won't cause I know what it will be for, I'll need to keep working to make it up. I have to be able to feed myself."

"You have your soulmates to do that," the mother dismisses.

Y/N sighs. "Yeah well I want to do it on my own too."

"Anyways," Y/N's dad interrupts. "Do you want to get started on the housework. We only have so much time."

Y/N's eyebrows furry. "We?"

"You he means," the mom hums, annoyed. "He meant you dumbass."

"If I do clean up for you today," Y/N pauses, taking a deep breath. "Could you actually respect me for the day?"

His/her/their mom shakes her head dismissively. "Fine."

"Then yeah sure," Y/N nods. "I'll clean up a little for you. But no money. And this is the last time we cross paths in either of our lives. Deal?"

They both nod, shaking hands with their kid.

Y/N sighs, heading towards the closet to grab some cleaning supplies. Y/N grabs some trash bags, and broom, and some cleaner and rags, then heads back into the living room, staring at it in masked disgust.
