The Letter

I always knew I was going to get a Hogwarts acceptance letter. So it didn't surprise me when an owl came in with my letter. The owl came with two letters, one for me and one for my brother James. I barely got to read my letter by the time my parents and little sister came in. Lily literally tackled me when she saw the letter in my hands. It took my dad, James, and my mom to pry her off of me. I've always had a special connection with my little sister, one that I would never be able to with James. We were on our own team. James never included us, and he probably never will. So me and Lily made an agreement that we would always be on the same side. No matter what the argument, we would always take each other's side.

"Yay!! Albus! I'm going to miss you!" Lily says as she is scrapped off of me.
"I'm going to miss you too, Lil"
"Are you coming home for Christmas?"
"And Easter" I say reassuringly

She'll be alone until Christmas. I think. She doesn't have many friends. Maybe one or two. But they mostly play with her because our dad defeated Lord Voldemort when he was a teenager. We mostly keep to our family and friends my mom and dad had while they went to Hogwarts. I have maybe one friend, but I only see him when go to my Aunt Hermione and Uncle Ron's house. He's their neighbor. I've met a couple muggles but that was just to figure out how they threw this orange ball called a "basketball" into a "hoop" connected to a tall pole. I play quiditch with my family. That's the only sport I'm good at really. I play like my dad and grandfather, which died when my dad was one.
