Moving Time

Karin POV

I had just been dropped of at home after going to the zoo with Kat. Since no one was home as my parents were at work and my brothers had moved out, I had nothing to do. I found my laptop and the cord to connect the camera to the computer. Soon I had downloaded the videos onto the computer. Looking through them I say some footage that I thought was pretty funny so I edited it together. Seeing the final product was fairly good I sent it to Kat. Soon I got an email back,

Hey Karin,

I think that video is pretty good. I talked to the parental units and they said I could finally start a YouTube channel. Maybe we could name it Marvel Maniacs. If you are okay with it we could start a YouTube channel together.

Seeing the email made me happy because this was something we had been wanting to do since we were 13. I quickly sent a reply back because I couldn't wait to get started.

Kat,

That sounds great! Although the maybe we should make the channel name K to the Second Power.

Soon I got a text from Kat saying that we should totally do it and she was going to upload the video. Admittedly I was extremely nervous, I knew we wouldn't automatically get one-million subscribers, getting subscribers was going to take time. I was just worried that we were going to get hateful comments. I started the set-up for the channel. I found a cool background and a goofy picture of us. I was really excited. I uploaded the video and waited. I decided not to look back on for a few days.

A couple days later I looked, it had more views then I thought it would. We had almost 1,000 views. Then I scrolled down to the comments section and saw that Tyler Oakley had commented on our video.

He had said, "You biatches are fabulous! I love how you guys are so yourself! Keep doing what you are doing! You guys are going somewhere!"

Tyler even subscribed and that meant we had about 500 more subscribers because of him. I couldn't believe it so I called Kat. She finally picked up.

"Hey Karin! Why you calling?"

"Guess what! Guess what! Guess what!"

"Umm what?"

"Tyler freakin Oakley commented on our video and subscribed to us!"

Together we had a fangirl moment, "Ahhh! Ahhh!"

"So how many subscribers do we have because of him?" Kat questioned

I looked back at my computer and saw that the number had nearly tripled.

"Uhh we did have 75, now we have 1,450."

"In one day!" She screeches.

"I agree!" I exclaim.

"Bye!" I say before hanging up.

I hear my Dad come through the door, "Hey Vatti! How are you?"

"Good!" He replies.

He starts to get out the ingredients for his famous pasta, he may be cooking Italian, but he is German through and through. As I watch him cook from my spot at the counter I hear the door open once again.

"Hello Mom!" I yell.

"Hello Katarina!" She calls back.

Soon my Mother comes walking into the kitchen, just in time for dinner. We all sit down and start to eat. I tell my parents about the YouTube channel Kat and I started. It goes over well because Kat has always been a favorite over at my house. Soon dinner is over and I head up to my room, I can't believe that I only have a few months until I head of to England for University. Kat and I decided that we wanted to move there over the Summer so we could settle in before the school year began. I couldn't wait I have always loved England, and I always wanted to move with my best friend.

YouTube is another thing I want to go somewhere, I remember when I felt like no one really loved me and watching YouTube made me feel better. So many of the Youtubers could make me smile and feel slightly better. Tyler Oakley, Dan, and Phil all made me happier. I just want our videos make people happy. Even if the videos only make one person smile it would make my day knowing we helped even just one person feel better.

Kat POV
I couldn't believe the news Karin told me. Tyler Oakley liked our video, I was still in a state of fangirl shock. This was all becoming so real. Before we moved to England for University Karin and I made a few more videos. One was a vlog of use sharing the wonderful new of our moving and the second was a time lapse of our packing. Karin and I had about 20,000 subscribers now and couldn't wait to film this summer. We were now entering the airport with my parents who would be traveling with us to help us get settled in. Soon we were on the plane rising into the clouds. During the eight our flight I slept and used the free wifi, thank goodness, to watch YouTube. On YouTube I watched all of my video that are from my subscriptions. Then I looked at the comments on our videos, "Karin" I whisper because my parents are sleeping on her left side.

"What?" She replies quietly.

"The comments on our videos are really nice. Some are asking for more videos and a bunch want us to check out one of Dan's videos."

"Which Dan?"

"Danisnotonfire Dan!"

"Why would they want us to watch one of his videos?"

"I have no clue, let's watch it." I say handing her an earbud.

I hit play on the video and we quietly watch. One thing that I hear really surprises me, "@wehaveahulkduh asks Who is your favorite up and coming YouTuber?" Dan says, "well I would have to say I love K to the Second Power, they always crack me up."

"I have to agree," Phil says as he pops into the picture, "and did you hear they are moving to England!"

"Whaaaattt!" Dan yells.

"Yes!" Phil replies.

"If you are watching please contact us immeadiately, the world depends on it!" Dan yells, "time for the sexy end screen dance."

Before Karin and I knew it we were landing in Manchester. As soon as we are on a bus to Liverpool I start fangirling, "I can't believe it it is so surreal! They want to do a collab with us. I can't wait maybe we can visit London soon and do it then!"

"Kat!" My Mom yells, "You need to be quiet!"

"Thank you! Now Kat we need to at least unpack first, I'm sure your parents would love for us to take them down to London before they leave and they can change their flight to leave from London-Heathrow." Karin says to placate me.

"Okay now let's go on an adventure!" I say as I turn on my camera. "Say hello everyone!"

"Hello!" The various people greet. Then Karin gets the great idea to steal the camera.

"Hello ma peoples!" Karin greets. "I have a surprise! Now some of you may have realized that we are moving to England for University. We are here and we gonna take over dis place!"

"Okay!" I say. "We gonna say bye now!"
