Chapter 15

Jairus's P.O.V

Nandito ako ngayon sa sala kasama ko ang baliw kong kambal, playing games with his phone. Nakahilata sa sofa na parang tanga sa position niya.

"Jairus ready ka na ba for the flight?" tanong niya. Kanina pa tanong ng tanong ito ah, it's irritating me already.

Binato ko siya ng unan at sapol sa mukha.

"What did you that for? I'm playing here(*pout*)"

"You always keep asking me that, kanina ka pa. Hindi talaga kita papansinin kung yan din lang sasabihin mo all the time." Seriously, like who wouldn't be irritated? Para ma ba akong ulyanin that needs to be reminded all the time. Haist!

Ano bang nakain kasi ni Dad at sa Philippines pa talaga kami pag-aaralin.

"Okay, okay, wag ka nang magalit" sabi nito.

"Jairus, are you ready to go?" Isa pa itong matandang 'to. I just rolled my eyes. I just answered him , so frustrating.

"Yes..." I just simply said

"Okay, so let's go at baka mahuli pa kayo sa flight niyo" sabi ni Dad kaya tumayo na kami.

"Bye sir Jairus and sir Vincent, ingat po po kayo sa biyahe, mami-miss ka namin..." sabi ng mga maid, puro OFW din mga maid, it's cool para naman hindi puro mga foreigner ang mga nakakahalubilo ko.

"Same here, i will miss all of you... " sagot ko bago lumabas ng mansion.

I kinda know to how travel all by myself, it's just so sad that Dad is not coming with us. Nakakatampo!

"Dad hindi ka ba talaga sasama sa amin?" tanong ko.

"No, i have business here, i have responsibilities here, you know that, kaya kayo na lang. It isn't the first you traveled alone, Jairus." sabi ni Dad..

"You don't have to worry, Dad, ako ang bahala dito" sabi ni Vincent

"Isa ka pa, you two don't fling on girls too much" sabi naman ni Dad..

"It looks like ako ang bahala sa'yo Vincent..."i retorted back at him.

"No, you have to watch each other's back. Sige na, goodbye na sa iniyo" paalam ni Dad.

"Sige Dad, bye... " sabay naming sabi ni Vincent at tuluyan ng umalis. (*Exhale*) it's been a month, ngayon lang ulit ako naka-travel. OTW to Philippines is going to be a long and tiring ride.

Philippines doesn't excite me in the least.

5 hours later

"Hoy Jairus, wake up, andito na tayo , let's get our things..." sambit ng katabi ko

"Nandito na tayo? What time is it?" tanong ko..

"It's time for lunch! Gutom na rin ako, let's go..." sabi nito

"Okay... " sabi ko lang, stretch a little, fixed myself before going out.

Nang makababa kami ay marami ang nakatingin sa amin, guwapo kasi kasama ng ko and i'm just his twin. Magsawa kayo hahaha...

I would literally shout at them "ngayon lang kayo nakakita ng tao?" Makatitig mga tao dito na parang tatagos na sa'yo.

"Vincent saan tayo kakain? I'm really starving..." tanong ko.

"Sa resto natin..." sagot niya. A few moments later, our van has already arrived kaya sumakay na kami.

It's getting hot here, what a tropical country it is. I have no time to look around the view that we are passing by. Nagkakalikot lang kami ng cellphone namin.

Nandito na kami ngayon sa resto namin, i just realized na malaki itong resto namin, halatang pangmayaman talaga.

"Tara na, gutom na ako" reklamo ng kasama ko.

"Hindi ka makapaghintay? We can stay here and eat all day if you want." sabi ko

My mood is feeling blunt today, mabilis akong mainis, mapagkakamalang masungit. Which reall i am.

Pagpasok namin sa loob, some of the staffs collected our baggages, sinabihan siguro ni Dad bago kami dumating.

I was about to go to our private table when i accidentally bumped into someone.

"Aray tumingin ka nga sa dinadaanan mo" reklamo ko.

"So-....wait, Sy?" gulat na sambit nito...

Then right there, he suddenly hugged me, the f*ck is wrong with this man.

"Ahh wait a second mister, who are you? And i'm not Sy...i'm Jairus" tanong ko

"Sy, is this a joke? It's me, Nixon, remember? " Yayakapin sana niya ulit ako but i stopped him.

Nixon? Who the f*ck is that?

Someone's P.O.V

My dear daughter, i mean son...today is your scheduled flight, are you ready?" tanong ni Dad ..

"Dad...don't tease me, okay? I prepared everything already..."

"Okay, sige halika na baka ma-late ka pa" sabi ni Dad.

"Okay... " sabi ko

"Bye Dad, i have to go na" sabi ko

"Okay, sige mag iingat ka, you are the smartest among your brothers, watch each other's back..." sabi ni Dad

Gosh, i'm not a babysitter...

"Okay.. bye." tanging sagot ko lang at  pumasok sa eroplano.

I just watch the city to shrink and filled with cloud up here in the sky. Philippines gave me a lot of memory but that memory is embedded in my mind.

It made me stupid, they took advantage of my weakness, they fooled me and it really devasted me.

I just to need to forget him and start a new life.

There's no need to revenge, ipaparamdam din ng karma  ang sakit na ginawa nila sa akin.

I already had a hard time, soon you'll take yours.
