Honestly I never really wanted all of this to happen ,it just did.It all started the day we lost mom.I still remember the day clear, it was the day I became a woman, the day I realized how lucky I am to have the friends I do,when I realized that all boys weren't the same, the day before I turned 14.I'm 18 now but I still need my mom every now and then.But I live, and I have some regret in my life,but not a lot.I can remember seeing my dad cry for the first time. I remember the phone call we got that day.
FLASHBACK
I was in my room waiting for my brother to get back to the room so we could talk to mom over the phone. My mom was in the army she was over seas right now and was going to call us. The phone rang and everyone raced to the living room,we didn't pick it up till dad got it,we never answer the phone.My dad picked up the phone and when he answered the first words he said was "is everything alright?" There was a silence and a man answered "Is this the Montgomery family?" " Yes, may I asked who's speaking?" My brother,Max, answered. The man on the phone said the words that soon change our life's forever " This is Captain David McCoy we regret to inform you that Karen Montgomery has been killed in action." I didn't listen to the rest of the message, my whole life came crashing down in an instant, everything seemed to be in slow motion . I felt sick to stomach, I couldn't breathe right,I blacked out. That was also the day I found out I suffered from asthma and panic attacks. After my mom died I went into a serious depression.

A month later my only sister passed.She was diagnosed with brain cancer and died.Soon school started up again and I was faced with more than the average girl could take.

Life isn't always easy, it never is. But you learn to live with it just like I did.
